CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.6 out of 5 by 157 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Watch Out ! I purchased this unit, got it home and it would not start. I contacted( Toro Timecutter ss 4235) Home Depot and they do not service them and referred me to Toro. Toro recommended an area franchised dealer. After 47 km. each way...the dealer told me that they only do warranty work for the units they sell. When pushed, they said if I paid an Administration fee, they would process it. I refused. I stopped by and small motor shop, who looked at it, reconnected a wire and it started. Be aware of the warranty issues. For the last four days, I have been waiting for a reply from Toro Canada..Nothing yet. Home Depot, listened, assigned me a number and is looking into it Nice Unit, good reviews but.....I would have taken it back, but their sale price was not beatable...Troublesome to say the least. Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Horrible Disappointment This might be the best mower in the world, but it's very hard to tell when it can't be used. I got it home from the Home Depot store, took it out to use it and before I could get the first swipe made I had a flat tire. Looked at the tire, and it looks like the tire tread was cut. I called the Home Depot store and was told they don't service the mowers, they just sell them. They also told me the tire isn't covered under the manufacturer warranty or the extended warranty that cost me an extra $400. So I started calling around trying to find a tire locally to replace it with, and each parts store I call says they don't carry that size and can't find where the tire even exists! This purchase has been a horrible disappointment and I haven't even had a chance to try it out!!! April 27, 2015
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by My Toro Mower --minor problem?? Well I bought this mower in October 20 2014. I mowed the lawn 1 time and then stored it for the winter. On April 29 2015 I tried to start the mower and it would not start. I played around with it and then it started but would not move so I turned it off. Then it would not start again. I tried replacing the battery but it still would not start. I took it back to where I bought it but even that guy could not figure it out. I know it is something simple but I just have no clue as to what it is. May 1, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by OUTSTANDING!!!! I owned a traditional riding mower that would take me 3 days after work to cut my lawn and another day after work to weed eat. I also have some back problems and after the first day the traditional mower was killing my back! I decided i had enough and after a TON of research i decited to go with TORO. After a few minuets of getting used to the controlls i was ready to cut. I now have 18.5 hours on this machine and i can cut my lawn in 4 hours instead of 3 days after work!!!! Also i can weed eat the same night, have no back problems, AND still have time left over to enjoy the new view!!! Just to really test it out i tried it out on grass that was 4 inches taller than the cut height, and i was able to put it on high speed and FLY! With grass that high i was afaid of it killing the mower or burning a belt. The only thing it did was cut the grass!!!! Overall an OUTSTANDING machine and nothing but GREAT things to say about it!!! Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by No peddles! I am a amputee, without my lower right leg. Not having any peddles to push, makes this ZTM ideal for me, and my yard area. April 23, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by this mower makes me feel like i am not doing any work at all Highly recommend Toro mowers to anyone that appreciates quality! April 7, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Toro 42" Zero Turn Mower Great for Home Owner's I have cut my grass twice now with my new Toro Zero Turn mower and boy does it save time over the old mower with the steering wheel. no more backing and forward to get close to trees and walkways. And I have to commend Toro for the different ranges in speeds trim and go is great for just that trimming without full power and mow and go for the wide open spaces is just amazing they improved the mower for every thing now a tow and go for pulling your little red wagon. Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by only used it for a month but so far really good only problem I can see so far is very limited access to under cutting deck, lots of power, handles well, hand control for height of cut is great, optional bagging attachment is easy to put on and remove, seat suspension also very nice.
