Quite the machine, keeps up with my pace walking, others were always too slow, large bag for bagging, mulches well, creates a wider swath. All combined creates a timesaving chore.

Used mine for about 8hrs of mowing time.
* Ease of use
* Fuel efficiency
* Speed control
* Separate blade engagement so you can clear obstacles without having to stop the mower
The not-so-good (not bad, just wish it was better)
* Rear tires - which they had better grip/tread
* 1" minimum height
I didn't want a rider mower as I would still like some exercise. This is really the only machine on the market that is over 22" that is not a rider or a professional grade unit like XMark. They say you can save up to 40% mowing time as compared to a regular push mower. It's more like 30%. The twin blades cut heavy Zoysia well. It's a bit pricey but it fit my requirements.

Good mower on the flat.. Not enough power to climb a small hill on a walk out lot. Must push it up the hill. So under-powered if you have a hill or slope and cannot push it up the hill. Good quality for the price. But not commercial quality in my opinion.

Great machine, cut my mowing time from three hours to one. Sorry I didn't splurge for the electric start feature though.

I love my TORO Timemaster 30 inch mower. I have used a Timemaster at my work for many years. TORO products are typically excellent products. This mower has been on the market for a few years now but TORO keeps making improvements on it . They have beefed up different parts by switching from plastic to metal. They have added extra material in the corner of the bagger where it would typically wear out. For this year they have also added a metal plate to the front of the engine to protect the carb and throttle assembly. The engine is still underpowered for cutting thru really tall or wet grass. But for the average homeowner the larger deck will make short work of your weekend mowing projects.

This is a great lawnmower. Overtime it will pay itself off with the 7 additional inches of deck you get. I just wish the bag and the fuel tank were bigger.
It's very easy to use and easy to maintain. My yard is .57 acres and in my opinion not big enough for a 42 inch riding lawnmower, but too big for a regular 22 inch mower. I wish the price was a little less, but this really is the Cadillac of lawnmowers and one of the few lawnmowers in this size.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mario4Three One full season of use after 10 years with a Honda 21"
Hard to give up the Honda motor but moved to a house with a much larger lawn and with two little kids wanted to cut down on the mow time. Not too many options out there for large cut, walk behind mowers that are well built and are moderately priced. Pretty good investment from what I can tell so far. One full season into this mower and really the only issue I've seen is in the grass catcher which has holes starting to from from the tabs toward the back/bottom of the shoot (pictures attached). Nice stripes (3rd picture attached and without the Toro accessory). Replaced the oil after the first couple of uses with synthetic and and will continue on each year with. I usually leave the cut height towards the 2nd to highest level setting and when the grass grows thick and tall in the spring the motor does seem to be slightly underpowered as others have mentioned. However, it really hasn't been an issue since I just slow the pace down a bit and adjust. I'll say the old Honda still starts up on the first pull every time even after 10 years. The Toro, usually on the first pull but sometimes it takes two :) I'd probably give it 4.5 stars if I could.

I bought this expensive piece of garbage a little over two years ago from HD. Since then, it's been in the shop 4x. I've spent on repairs almost what I paid for it. LEMON!!!
