Looks awesome for the price. The shade are plastic but overall appearance give modern and clean look. Assembly instructions not included that makes job more complicated than it should. Had to do some modifications due to our electrical setting.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Dussy Damaged upon receipt and sufficiently replaced by Home Depot
After my satisfactory replacement by Home Depot the light met my expectations. Without installation experience the light will likely require professional attention: i.e., ceiling mounting brackets and an electrician. However, I had no problem.

The shades on it are very big (14" diameter). I did realize that when I ordered it. It does look in proportion when used with a full size pool table. Just something to keep in mind if you are using it somewhere else. The price is good in comparison to other lights I looked at. Also, the color selections are a plus. The only complaint I have is the weird cord it has. It has a 3 wire cord with a switch molded into it a little less than a foot out of the light. There is also a pull chain switch on the fixture. The light is meant to be hung with the chains and canopies supplied with the light. The canopies have a tube that goes through the center of them like a lot of fixtures do. But there is no way to put the cord through the tube. There is a plug on one end and even if you disconnect the cord at the fixture, the switch molded onto the cord prevents you from feeding it through from the other end. I installed it in a room where we have a suspended ceiling, so I wanted a clean look and didn't want a cord stretched across the ceiling, so I cut off the molded on switch and fed the cord through the canopy and tube, then wired it back into the fixture (there was enough cord to do this). The cord then follows with the chain and isn't conspicuous. The other thing I noticed in the process of doing this is that even though it has a 3 prong cord, the ground wire was just cut off inside the fixture. It wasn't even used. I did ground it when I reconnected it. I think they should just put a cord on without the molded on switch. The pull chain switch on the end of the fixture serves the purpose and looks better too.
