The Allure vinyl seams in my garage are curling up and showing after one year of use. I really can't see why. The floor is sealed and waterproofed. The weight of a vehicle was distributed with boards, thinking that might help, but it still occurred in areas of no weight bearing.

I've been checking online looking for a product to improve the looks of my garage for quite a while. I decided to purchase this flooring product from Home Depot online. The description is as written, No floor preping,No cleaning of old floor,Just place over old and start putting together.
It was easy and got done in a very short time. The floor looks great and improved my garage appearence very nicely..My wife argued with me before buying the flooring and after the work was complete she changed her mind and liked it alot. Now she wants me to do the rest of the home flooring.. Installing is easy and it took no time, Unless you have to clean a bunch of stuff out of your garage,And it looks great and easy to clean. It also makes it easier to move or slide heavier items across than the concrete before. I would recommend the flooring to others seeking to make improvements.

I used the tile in a basement rec. room, computer room and laundry room. Tile was easy to lay, although you had to go slow and make sure it was fitting right as it could not be moved except full removal of peace. Only problem was when it came to cutting. Used hint of using knife with poor results, so set up table saw with a veneer blade 0f 120 tooth and cutting slowly worked nicely. Had to go slowly as sparks flew and smell of burnt rubber was noticeable, but this method worker better then anything else I tried.

This is an industrial product, and seems like it will last a lifetime - however, the product states it is easy to cut with a heavy utility knife. This was not the case for us; since it is twice as thick as normal residential tile, it is at least twice as difficult to make the cuts, I was not strong enough to do it, and my husband had to do all the cuts,we tried a number of different knives. Since it is a thick material, it may not fit easily under existing thresholds or molding, and you may need to remove and reseat them. THAT said, it is a wonderful product. . . especially if you hire an installation specialist!
