Answer:
the best policy for grout is to always try n match the color of the tile... You'll never have a problem this way... If you try to get cute and contrast the color ... it could be a major screw up !!! Just take a tile over to the store and match up !

Thank you for your follow up question...i do not have a list of recommendations and I hate to use my own opinion to answer that question. Your best bet is to take a piece of the product and go into Home Depot to make a decision.

Grouting is easy.

Answer:
Terri, Allure Ultra is a lock-together tile, no gluing involved. This is strictly a loose lay product. If you glued a piece down, the next piece you tried to install might not go on. Note that connecting the pieces is work, so if you have no experience, you may want to try one box first to see if you can do it.

Rated 3.0 out of 5 by 13 reviewers.
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks fine in laundry room, install reasonable This wasn't quite as easy to install as I had expected, but now that I've done it once, it would be easier the second time. It is within the capabilities of the typical do-it-yourselfer. The instructions were basic and didn't help with the tricky spots (like filling in tight areas. So that was kind of trial and error. Buying it through the online store with delivery to the local store worked well. That approach allowed for a no-charge return of the extra box of material we ordered because our planned area was right at the limit of 3 boxes. It ended up looking fine and pushing our washer and dryer back into place didn't mar it. All in all, a decent purchase. Note: I'm a tough grader, it would have had to be really outstanding to get a 5-star rating from me. July 7, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Very difficult to install. this stuff was HORRIBLE! the tile looks great, tough and thick but the install is horrible. what good is it if you can't get a tight seamless installation?? I called the manufacter and the first call they hung up on me, the second they acted like they had never heard of any problems installing. Then I read the reviews (yes MY mistake for not reading them prior to purchase). We returned it. June 15, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Instructions not great, nice results anyway. The instructions are for a slightly different product. I think there are 3 different acceptable temperature ranges listed. Don't even try at the lower limit, the warmer the better. It was difficult to keep the seams together, probably related to our less than perfectly level floor. Somewhere we saw that it could be cut with scissors. Maybe by Paul Bunyan, but it still wouldn't look right. And although no two tiles are the same they are very similar, there should be more variation so be careful when laying out your tiles. The results look very nice. March 4, 2014
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Would never buy this floor again! Floor packaging contained no instructions. Even after searching on internet for videos on installation, the floor could not be interlocked at 90 degree angles. Had to put together one whole row at a time in order to install. I would not recommend this flooring to anyone. January 14, 2015
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Hire a pro! After watching Tom Silva on This Old House install a floating floor, scribing to fit, using a jamb saw to allow the floor to go under the door frame, all things not mentioned in the installation instructions for this product, by the way, we hired someone to install it. The guy had years of experience installing wood floors and floating Pergo floors, and it still took him 8 full hours to do a 40 sq. ft. bathroom. Score and snap? Forget it! He had to use a circular saw to cut it. Some of the joints would not go together no matter what he did, either. Looks good where the joints are right, but other places, not so good. Wish I would've gone with sheet vinyl! No instructions in the boxes, had to download from the internet. December 22, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Difficult to install The floor looks great and feels better than laminate. Installation was difficult due to the large amount of force needed to lock and click, resulting in having to continually reset several prior tiles. September 30, 2014
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by don't attempt if you are a handyman I have been a carpenter for 35 years, and this was by far the most difficult floor i have ever laid. The two side lift and snap interlock system is not for trying to get underneath cabinets or around doorways. I made a couple of homemade tools to help me after the first row went down, so I ended up in not too bad of shape, but DO NOT attempt this if you are a homeowner who does week-end projects. Luckily for me, I was installing in my own kitchen, or I would have under-bid this job by a substantial margin. There were quite a few extra hours needed than installing any other floor I have ever done. Hire a pro to do the job for you, but don't call me, I will do no more of these floors except at an inflated price to cover the pure frustration of putting these down. Now, that being said, the finished product is outstanding!!!! Put a couple coats of Single Step on the finished floor, and you will stand there and marvel how beautiful it came out. Just let someone else do it! Strong, sturdy good looking floor. June 2, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful, excellent value for DYI TrafficMaster Allure Ultra Carrera tile is a beautiful product that I'm happy my wife found for our bathroom remodel and addition. I found drilling with a wood bit and sawing with my Swiss army knife keyhole saw worked well. I used Mapei Luxury Vinyl Tile Grout along the tub and shower. It works well if there's a slight gap between tiles - I'm not perfect, but the floor looks perfect! September 26, 2012
