Answer:
Very thick stuff! I suggest a saw. A knife will not work!

Answer:
I recommend using a very sharp utility knife and straight edge. Once the plank has been scored, simply snap off the unwanted piece. For more intricate cuts, sturdy kitchen shears are handy.

Answer:
I used a sharp knife scoring product then snapping off at the score line. When I needed to cut a very slim pieces off, I put a piece of the packing paper on the adhesive surface to protect it and used a table saw. Similarly when my cut was slightly off and was trying to fit into a beveled place I also used a power plane.

I used a utility knife for long cuts and tin snips for the short cuts. Long cuts snap off easily without any problems.

Hello ANN and thank you for your question.
This flooring can be cut using a utility razor knife with a level or a piece of straight stock as a guide or using a vinyl cutter.
Hope this helps,

This product does not have a ceramci bead or ALX finish on it so you might see a few scratches here and there. We have two other product that do that you might want to look at....Allure ULTRA and Allure PLUS.

Answer:
The manufacturer rates this product as "highly water resistant". Having installed this product in my kitchen, utility room, and bathroom, I can assure you that it takes regular moppings without any issues. However, I would not use this product or any similar product in areas that are outdoors or subject to flooding as they are not designed for that.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Alluring Allure Corsica! If you want a floor redo that is extremely water resistant, durable and affordable and comes with a 25 year warranty, you too must consider Home Depot's Allure flooring line. My kitchen and 2 bathrooms was in desperate need of flooring replacement. Edges of ancient linoleum curled up at the bath baseboards and the oaken laminate in the kitchen area did not do well with my sloppy, drinking dog. I researched. Shopped. I FOUND what I was searching for at Home Depot! Allure Corsica was affordable, elegant and promised an easy installation. I hired a friend and local carpenter to take up the old and install the new. I even recycled my old laminate and gave it to a couple with 6 children and several canines. (They thanked ME for giving it to them!) Except for the toilet removals, all went fairly easily. The finish work happened last week and OH! I am pleased beyond words. The Allure Corsica blends with the colors of my décor. The variegated pattern reflects well with the in the bathrooms, one green and the other, cranberry and gray/blue in the kitchen. Plus I cannot even see the dirt until I sweep! Allure is the BOMB! It is affordable, a DIY dream and an elegant upgrade at a workin’ woman’s prices. October 2, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy Installation Installation went smoothly over an existing vinyl floor in our kitchen. A little disappointed in the amount of waste but because of the way the product is designed, with the adhesive strip down just one side of the plank, this is difficult to avoid. Other than that, we feel the flooring is beautiful and would highly recommend it. August 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bathroom install Used in one of my 5 rentals lays easy, went over existing vinyl smooth. Transition level with wood laminate. Will be using again October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Perfect for basement with concrete floor Bought this for my basement bathroom. Super easy to install. Love that it doesn't need anything down first. You will need lots of blades for razer knife. Easy to score then snap in half. I learned this after into second case. August 30, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Allure Vinyl tile flooring Have to be careful when installing each panel to assure proper placement . Looks very good. Seems very durable. July 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful flooring Beautiful end result. Installed in 2 bathrooms and really enhances the appearance of both. Somewhat difficult to cut but end result is worth the extra effort. July 19, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Innovative Product I used this product in my kitchen/breakfast nook area of my house. Very good flooring. If you have lots of corners and angles, buy extra. Because flooring only goes together one way, you may have a lot of left over pieces. July 26, 2016
