Laminate is much easier to install once you figure out how to do it. Stay away from this. Read Less

We only need 35 sqft with 10% excess, which would be about 1 and a half cases. How do I purchase individual planks to get the amount I need without spending more than we need?

Rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Looks nice, but won't last. I have had this floor down for a year. I love the way it looks and how easy it is to clean. I have three dogs and they do not scratch the floor with their nails. Unfortunately, everything else scratches it. If you drop a fork on it, it will gouge it and leave a permanent mark, that you cannot fix. If you slide a laundry basket across it, it will scratch. If you slide a chair across it, it will scratch. If you drop anything on it except a stuffed animal, it will scratch. I put this in my living room, dining room, and hallway and I am afraid I will be replacing it with something way more durable in the future. I choose it for the water resistant quality, but I sacrificed durability in a huge way that I did not anticipate. I wish I had gone with laminate. I recently installed laminate in another house. It was much easier to install and is much, much more durable. I wish I had not bought this and bought laminate instead. It would have saved me money and time. I do not recommend this product for anyone. March 20, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great and decent price Installed after carpet removal in our newly purchased home. Laid in a bedroom, family room, and bathroom. It looks like real wood for the most part. Installation was easy enough. I used tin snips after trying my hand with a utility knife. Definitely recommend the snips over the razor for a much easier and accurate cut. The angles and corners are a pain but would be so with any type of flooring. Anyone can lay the open sections easily. The adhesive strip on the edges are very sticky, obviously. Not much room for error but way more often than not you could fix your mistakes without ruining the pieces. Did not use any moisture barrier on concrete flooring. Placed it over top of existing linoleum in the bathroom. Watch a couple of videos for tips. Overall we are pleased with the flooring. We would buy it again. It looks better than expected. September 30, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Wonderful Flooring Wow! Is the best description. Easy to install! Looks like real wood! I installed it myself..yes a female, single mom, no help from a man! You can do this, anyone. My 16 yr old daughter helped some too! September 8, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Best option for an investment home I consider myself a harsh critic, so to receive five stars is a big win for this floor. When we opened the boxes, we were happy to see that the strips all had different details (knots, shades) and weren't all stamped with one single design. It makes the floor a lot more convincing as wood. Installation was easy and intuitive. It's a floating floor that sticks to itself, so there's no glue or nails to mess with. There's a lot of cutting, but it's easy because the floor is so thin and flexible. People have come over and asked "What kind of wood did you get?" and we have to explain that its vinyl. They're shocked and impressed. We decided vinyl would be the best option for us for a few resons: 1. Our foundation has a few cracks from moisture, so wood or laminate wouldn't lay flat, plus there's risk of damage from water. 2. We plan to rent our home out in the future, so we went with the floor that was most durable and easiest to replace. It wasn't the cheapest option, but is the cheapest option ever the best one? We figured the investment would be worth it when people would be fooled into thinking we had real hardwood. I'd highly recommend this floor. October 15, 2013
