This flooring is very tough and durable. It is also almost water proof so you can use all conventional methods to clean the floor. The only method that you need to careful with is a steam cleaner. You just have to be careful you don't leave the steam on one spot too long.

You can clean our product with any cleaner that states its safe to use on vinyl. Armstrong's Once and Done works well too. We also make a cleaner/polisher that can be used once a week to continue to protect the floor.

Any of the above will do... I will either sweep or vacuum. If you vacuum, turn off the beater brush so it will not damage your floor. I use a swiffer mop to mop up. I may start using vinegar & water some. I hope you like your floor as much as I do!

Yes, you can use your steam mop as long as you don't leave it on one spot for very long. Say you stand up your steam mop and walk away. It may soften the flooring or cause the adhesive to release. FYI, it is also a danger for any type of floor to leave a steam mop running unattended.
I have a steam mop and the Allure flooring, it cleans well and does not damage the finish.

I wouldn't use anything moist on laminate flooring, as it is like wood and can separate or warp. Yes, it is water resistant, but you don't want moisture in the cracks. I use a commercial laminate cleaner on the allure. It dusts and shines at the same time.

I am preparing to lay the Allure flooring and read in the instructions that I should use a floor roller. Is it necessary to use a roller or would another heavy object work. I called up the Home Depot where I bought it and they don't have tool rental department.

No, you can either push down the seams with your hand or walk on them. Though using a floor roller may give added bonding between the two mating surfaces, it is not required.

We just walked around on the adhesive seams while installing it. I figure at 225 pounds we are just as good if not better then a floor roller. We've installed 6 rooms of Allure vinyl planks in two houses and haven't had it come apart in any of them.

Yes, the product is only available in full case lots. But you may want to talk with the flooring associate. Some times they have sample available, or they may have a damaged box that they can sell a single plank out of. I have been fortunate on more than one occasion to get what I needed.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nice looking floor Put this in a large living room and hallway, easy installation, level out floor with floor leveler first to give a nice even look, stick is amazing, gave it the test by putting 2 pieces together and putting in water for an hour, had to get apart. very easy and fast to install after floor prep and again only because there was a dip in this floor. would recommend for anyone to use October 23, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful, easy care product Purchased for my living area, dining area, and bedroom. While we have not as yet installed this flooring, we have installed the same type of product in our kitchen and 2 bathrooms and have been delighted with the results. The durability and easy to clean surface make this a fantastic product. Beautiful and functional. September 20, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Really is the easiest floor ever! Awesome for high traffic areas. My contractor is recommending it often, October 18, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Buyer Beware! The poorest product I have ever purchased! If I could give this product a minus review, I would! We had our carpenter/contractor lay this floor throughout the house when we purchased it. Within months gaps started appearing between the ends of the planks, and are still showing up in various places around the house today. It shows every scratch and never really looks clean. If it wouldn't be so hard to do, and expensive, I would tear the stuff up, take it back to Home Depot and dump it in their loading area. Buyer beware! Don't buy this product! July 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kitchen floor This floor was easy to install and looks great. We covered about 250 square feet in about 4 hours. August 24, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst flooring I ever purchased The flooring was installed by Home Depot installers and after reviewing the proper way to install have realized they didn't install properly and the self gripping strips on the planks are not bonding as they should be, the flooring has been in place now for about 3 months and to this day still having problems with the strips seperating. July 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good and easy install The installation was easy and the only tool required were a straight edge, measuring tape and a sharp knife. I did rent a roller (16$/day) to complete the job but not required. The prep work took longer than the installation. Very easy install. January 8, 2016
