If I could give this product a minus review, I would! We had our carpenter/contractor lay this floor throughout the house when we purchased it. Within months gaps started appearing between the ends of the planks, and are still showing up in various places around the house today. It shows every scratch and never really looks clean. If it wouldn't be so hard to do, and expensive, I would tear the stuff up, take it back to Home Depot and dump it in their loading area. Buyer beware! Don't buy this product!

This floor was easy to install and looks great.
We covered about 250 square feet in about 4 hours.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by WMP Worst flooring I ever purchased
The flooring was installed by Home Depot installers and after reviewing the proper way to install have realized they didn't install properly and the self gripping strips on the planks are not bonding as they should be, the flooring has been in place now for about 3 months and to this day still having problems with the strips seperating.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by CVN65 Very good and easy install
The installation was easy and the only tool required were a straight edge, measuring tape and a sharp knife. I did rent a roller (16$/day) to complete the job but not required. The prep work took longer than the installation. Very easy install.

Very easy to install. Fair in the looks department. Have to take special care as the product scratches easily.

This flooring went directly over a particle board subfloor. The room previously had carpet installed, and had been a complete mess for years. The carpet was moth-eaten and pet stained for an extended period of time, and the room had a moisture problem. I cleared out the room, cut out the carpet, cleaned the subfloor, and screwed down a couple of squeaky floorboards. The floor was level, so I put a coat of flat wall paint down to help seal off any odors. I put these planks down directly on the painted particleboard. The room was about 12x13', and it took me about four hours, including the closet. The floor looks great, hasn't had any problems since I installed it (in May, 2014), and has been very easy to clean.
