Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Kacky So far, a nice enough floor
I have this in a small hallway that's unheated, so I will have to review it again after it has been through warm and cold seasons. It's very easy to install and very forgiving of a less than optimum flooring surface. Mine's installed over very old, gappy boards with ancient linoleum on top. My problem with the look is that these planks fit together so tightly, it has the appearance of patterned sheet flooring. If I use this product again, I will buy several different colors to see if I can get it to look more realistic.

Installed this flooring in a basement finish. The product installed easily with the only tools needed were a square, tape measure and a utility knife with standard blades. Ease of installation is as advertised. One could easily install this flooring alone, but with one to two people helping cut and layout you can keep labor time down to a minimum. I will be installing this product in my own home in the near future as soon as the wife decides on a color.

This product does take some time to install but by taking your time our floor looks beautiful. It did take 2 day full days to install but we made sure to roll all seems as we laid the flood and took the time to make sure that the seems were tight. This floor cleans up easily and feels great on your bare feet.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by grahamr84 Started Lifting after 1 Day
We ordered this flooring thinking it was the locking floor by Allure that we had installed the previous year in my wife's salon and were very happy with. When it arrived we found that it was the self adhesive tabs. Against my better judgement, i decided to install it after letting it acclimate. All seams were pressed with a roller. The next day the product started to lift at the seams. We had Home Depot file a claim and Allure refunded all our money without a fight. My guess is that they have tons of problems with the floor. The new floor (locking) just arrived. The old floor will make a good vapor barrier for the new one. I hope this helps someone from making the same mistake as me.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Steve HORRIBLE! FLOOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED!
I bought this product aft.er reading the reviews. I let it sit and acclimate in my house for a full week. Then my wife and I watched videos on installation and the install was done in a day. About 6 months later the joints started to open up! The planks are shrinking in length, some of the gaps a 1/4 inch! The product looked great after we installed it, but now we must replace the entire floor! What a waste of time and money! For the time being, since we cannot afford to replace the floor we have had to buy a large rug to cover the gaps in the flooring!

I originally had Allure planks installed in my mobile home bathroom and kitchen. Pine in the bath, African wood in the kitchen. Everyone thought it was real wood. After selling that home and moving to Tucson, I needed a summer apartment in Michigan! I bought the cherry and installed it with my neighbor (he has a vinyl cutter!) The cherry looks every bit as good as the other planks installed in 2010. It is being installed in a basement over concrete so I'm using a 6 mil poly under layment as recommended. No issues with the grip strips as a few have had. Time will tell, but I never had issues in my other home in 5 years.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by disgruntled horrible product
Don't buy this!!! i bought this product for a basement floor as recommended by my friend. The adhesive failed within two months of install and the company would not honor my claim. The CSR who handled my claim basically avoided calling me, and when I did get in touch with her, she indicated my room was too cold (58 in middle of winter). The product warranty indicates an adhesive failure well below this temperature, so it should have held up easily at room temp. They completely disregarded my upset as a customer and shrugged me off after I spent $1000 on their product. #disgraceful
