Answer:
I use a simple vinegar and water solution with a damp mop. I put about one cup of vinegar to one gallon of tepid water. Looks great. This tile is so easy to keep clean.

Answer:
I wouldn't use any kind of steam cleaning for fear of damaging the adhesive. Just a simple vinegar and warm water will adequately clean it with a sponge mop.

We actually used a tinted silicone caulk between tiles that were not tight. It looks awesome and not noticeable at all.

Answer:
Thank you for your interest in the TrafficMaster Allure resilient vinyl tile flooring. Unfortunately this tile is not groutable. We do offer a groutable vinyl tile called Ceramica. You can find it here: http://www.homedepot.com/s/ceramica?NCNI-5

What I found is that it does go down rather easily but if you need to reposition a tile it is very difficult. The instructions indicate that you have 10 to 15 minutes to separate joined pieces but that is simply not true. I found that while you can separate them, even after about 30 to 60 seconds, you run the high risk of the adhesive strips tearing apart. I lost several tiles to this problem. I also wish I had not chosen the Sheridan Slate because there are no grout lines in the pattern so all of the tile joints are noticeable - some more than others. I put in my floor to cover an old linoleum floor in anticipation of prepping my house for sale. I was not as pleased with the final look as I expected and am rather glad it's not a floor I will be living with. I know there are others who say the tile goes together easily but I wonder if those are relatively smaller projects. I did about 600 sq. ft. working around a lot of cabinets so I probably had a tougher task than many. I consider myself an advanced DYI'er.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best vinyl floor tile I've ever used. Wanted more but store said discontinued. Darn! Best floor tile I've ever laid. We decided to do about 50% of our entire home with this product but when we went back, about a week later, they had sold out and told us it was discontinued. Heartbreaking for us. We really liked the tile and the installation as well. Thank you. Michael Abel

Rated 5 out of 5 by from What's Not To Love? The price was right. Tile was easy to install. It looks very nice and is super easy to maintain. We put some in the kitchen, entry hall, and two bathrooms and I'm loving all of it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from flooring The tile is easy to install, but is flimsy and too light.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from The box states "easiest floor ever" and that is a lie. I had high expectations for this flooring but was very disappointed. Upon unboxing it looked great and felt like a good quality product. The surface really looked and felt like real tile. Once I started to lay this product I immediately realized that I regretted my purchase but I continued to be optimistic. The biggest issue was the seams. These tiles only fit together one way which creates a ton of waste. If you only need a six inch section the other 1.5 feet is a total waste. I had bought enough for my 130 sq ft bathroom to have some extra for forgiveness and once I started the project I barely had enough to cover half of my bathroom. Also the instructions state that the planks are easily cut and scored with a utility knife which is not true. I had a horrible time trying to cut with a brand new utility knife and also snips. So after spending $200+ and over 5 hours I hate my floor and have to tear up the floor and start from scratch with a different product. I was unable to finish my project due to the seams.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Good initial thoughts Installed this product over the weekend in a utility room. Overall looks great and nice finish. Since the tile is relatively thick, I used tin snips to cut/trim and it was very straight forward - too hard with a knife. Now planning to do another room, compared to the wood based flooring i already purchased, because its easier than using a saw and less mess. I want to see how the glue joints do over time. I'm hoping they hold up. Both top & bottom have glue on them and it definitely hard to pull them apart when you make a mistake.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from great product I starting using this on my rental properties on a recommendation from another rehabber. It wears like iron. It's easier to clean than replace a cheapie floor every move out. With easy installation and minimum waste it is a bargain because of the durability. Looks so good I started using in my own house and very satisfied with the results

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If you are going to replace your kitchen floor, USE THIS! We were looking to replace our floor in our kitchen. My wife and I really liked the grip strip setup that the Allure had to offer. Although it was on sale, it is not "cheap" material. All you need is a utility knife with a sharp blade. Take your time setting up the seams because once it is set, you pretty much damage the tile if you try to rip it off again.
