Flooring is very attractive and easy to install, but a little tricky if you use a style with a pattern as I did, because you end up more waste as you need to match the pattern. This caused me to need to order another box of vinyl tiles, as I didn't have enough to finish the job, and unfortunately they are now out of stock, so I'm having to wait a few weeks with an incomplete job while I wait for more to become available. Also, when you need to make a butt joint between two cut pieces, and you can't use the overlapping built-in joint tabs, you have to use a piece of double-sided tape under the joint, which raises it up a little- you can't see the "hump" created by the tape, but you can feel it when you walk on it. This likely wouldn't be a problem if you use a style that looks like wood. Also, be careful with planning how to cope with a room that isn't perfectly square. I put this in a kitchen with an island, and had a tough time figuring out how to get the faux grout lines in the tile pattern of this particular style ("Cordoba") to line up when I worked around the island.

This is the third time we've used Allure flooring. We used it twice in our old house (bathroom and kitchen) and just installed this color in the new house (small master bath). The product not only looks great, but is a nice thick and heavy duty plank. So far it has been a great product for us and I would not hesitate to use it again.
The best installation tip is to take your time and make sure you have a quality knife/razor for cutting and some tin snips do a great job for cutting our more rounded or intricate areas.

We (my spouse and I) have never had an easier time laying a floor. The preparation was the key and made the floor go down so fast we were amazed. We did a 10 x 12 dining room and a 5x6 hallway in half a day. We did the solid square pattern and were amazed at the small amount of waste. Do not skip the acclimation step (waiting 48 hours) as it is crucial for the adhesive to work right. Our floor looks like a professional did it.

I read the reviews, did the research, & couldn't be happier with the results. I'm a 64 yr. old female & installed just under 200 sq. feet in our kitchen. It took me 2 days...there were a lot of cuts around a center island/table. The cuts were easy enough using either the tin snips or the scoring method. We enjoy the look & comfort of this flooring. You can't beat a product that looks great, is long lasting, & easy to install over existing flooring. The matching transition reducer worked perfectly.

The floor ended up being way better than I expected. I thought that it would snap easy being that it was flexible and that was definitely not the case. I am almost 6 months pregnant and I installed our entire kitchen floor by myself. Love the look, especially against our darker cherry/brown maple cabinets. It actually looks like real tile, it does not look like a self installed product at all!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by bpoct Realistic "tile look" from a vinyl product
We installed this vinyl plank flooring over an existing old vinyl sheet flooring in our kitchen. So far we have been very pleased. It looks like tile but is softer underfoot and the color is great in that it doesn't show the dirt in our high traffic areas. The pattern is one of the most realistic we have seen for imitating the look of tile in a very reasonably priced vinyl. The four different strips that came in the numerous boxes we ordered allowed us to create a very natural look without an obvious repeating pattern (a look we preferred) We had very little waste.
If you have a square or rectangular floor, the installation should be a breeze as long as you follow the instructions precisely. We had a lot of "bump outs" and fitting into closets, a hall and adjoining powder room, so it was a little more difficult. In some places, because of all the custom fitting we needed to do, we ended up with some small gaps between the tiles. This hasn't interfered with the performance of the floor as of yet and is barely noticeable. Of course, now that we've done it once, we know what we would need to do to prevent gaps if we were to do it again but it's hard to explain in a few words. Simply put, it's best to start in a corner along a straight wall if possible.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by mthayer2 Looks nice, easy to install but expensive
We purchased this floor to install in our kitchen which is a high traffic area. We carefully read the manufacturers instructions and laid the flooring over a clean surface.
The installation was fairly easy but you do need to warm the tile in order to cut them easily, we found that a paint gun worked the best but a blow dryer is sufficient.
We had trouble getting some of the seams to align due to variances in the tiles themselves. After 48 hours we have one corner which keeps popping up. We are going to try to heat it and put a weight on it. If that does not work we will try to glue it down.
We had a large number of broken tiles. At least two full boxes out of the 7 we ordered. Luckily they were broken in a way that we were still able to use some of them and complete our project on time.
If you are a perfectionist this may not be the system for you as it will drive you crazy seeing the grey adhesive strips where the seams don't align perfectly. It would be nice if the manufacturer offered a colored fill or paint to hide where the seams do not align.
I would consider buying this product again for a small space such as an entryway or mudroom.

I love this flooring. We purchased it originally for our downstairs bathroom when we needed something quick and easy to install after discovering a rotten subfloor. This was definitely quick and easy- and looks so nice. So much nicer than I expected. Almost 2 years later it still looks like the day we put it in, so we installed it in our upstairs bathroom as well. Super easy to do- just score with a box cutter and snap!!
