I want to install in a kitchen and what to know how long I have to wait before putting back my refrigerator and other large heavy appliances. Show I avoid walking and placement of appliances until after the 48 hour acclamation period? Thanks

Answer:
You can put them back on immediately. Once you place the plank, it sticks together. Don't put your appliances on the planks until you have finished that area so that it won't cause the planks to shift.

We installed cabinets ontop of ours the next day and the dishwasher the following day.its a floating floor I don't see why there would be a waiting period like hard wood flooring or laminate. Our floor hasn't pulled apart or shown faults yet and shouldn't

Answer:
I doubt it. Our flooring, even though properly installed, is popping up on the corners and seams are letting loose. You could get away with it on stairs if you are willing to nail or staple it down perhaps.

Answer:
Yes, but as you said the warranty would be voided. You could also use the tiles on the steps and rubber bullnose to finish it off.

Answer:
I suppose you could...the only thing is that the stone look is only a top layer and the remainder of the plank in black. If you cut it like I think you plan to, you will be able to see that black at the front of each step.
I personally wouldn't because I'd worry a little about the safety of just having the plank glued to the stairs maybe slipping at some point but I guess that's up to you to decide.

Yes, the planks can be cut to fit your area, including removing the sticky area. Be sure to select an adhesive like Liquid Nails or other vinyl tile adhesive.

Answer:
Yes. There is a lot of extra waste with this product because it can only be installed in one direction due to the glue edges being on one side of the plank.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this flooring. The flooring was very easy to install and looks great. June 28, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Quite an improvement The appearance of this vinyl tile flooring was appealing. It also is easy for upkeep cleaning. Even though I didn't attempt to install it myself, I was quite pleased to see the final results when flooring was installed. June 7, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking in our utility room Not as easy as the store says to install. could not pull apart after minor contact. We had only minor gaps June 7, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Mixed thoughts Installing this flooring goes very quickly and uses material efficiently when you're in open space in the middle of a room. When you're working along a wall or through doors, cuts and measurements are tricky if you want the tile to line up correctly on the "seams". I'd recommend a random staggered pattern to avoid most of this difficulty. Because of the sticky tongue attachment method, there was absolutely no way to take extra material cut to fit the far wall and use it to start the next row. It's pretty wasteful in small areas so consider adding 15-20% waste numbers instead of the standard 10% if you're working in tighter quarters like a bathroom or hallway. Having said that, it is definitely DIY-able. It just takes patience, a good straight edge, and plenty of utility blades. The flooring itself is nice and very durable. I was extending a previously installed floor in my kitchen into the hallway. The pattern was identical from whenever they made the tiles before but the colors were a little bit lighter. I don't think it's due to wear, UV exposure, or dirt. It's just different. I put in a floor transition between the two floors to separate the two different floor colors so they weren't so obvious. It doesn't look "high quality" but I would use this product again in a low cost flip or basement kitchen. Pick a color that Home Depot stocks in house and you save $10/box. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by allure vinyl Installed this in house when we built. Its been down for 5 yrs. we're very pleased with the durability of this product. we have 2 dogs and 2 children. we have it in foyer, dining rm, and kitchen I would highly recommend this product. October 24, 2015
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy beautiful floor Flooring is very attractive and easy to install, but a little tricky if you use a style with a pattern as I did, because you end up more waste as you need to match the pattern. This caused me to need to order another box of vinyl tiles, as I didn't have enough to finish the job, and unfortunately they are now out of stock, so I'm having to wait a few weeks with an incomplete job while I wait for more to become available. Also, when you need to make a butt joint between two cut pieces, and you can't use the overlapping built-in joint tabs, you have to use a piece of double-sided tape under the joint, which raises it up a little- you can't see the "hump" created by the tape, but you can feel it when you walk on it. This likely wouldn't be a problem if you use a style that looks like wood. Also, be careful with planning how to cope with a room that isn't perfectly square. I put this in a kitchen with an island, and had a tough time figuring out how to get the faux grout lines in the tile pattern of this particular style ("Cordoba") to line up when I worked around the island. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Decent product but aweful shipping for large quanties My wife likes the faux tile because its color hides a lot of dirt and I like the coverage of the 12x36 inch pieces. The product is fairly easy to install except for the multiple seams that show up and are impossible to repair afterwards. I was extremely careful when installing to make sure to not have the seam issues mentioned in other reviews. Even with my best efforts and rolling each seam as I installed I still had a few noticeable seams that were visible. Once a seam joint does not close completely it is impossible to eliminate. The next seam will have some sort of misalignment but will move across the floor. I am going to try to find some type of compound to rub into the seams that will match the faux grout color. I am hoping this will hide the misaligned seams in the flooring. The product seems very resistant to scratches but small glossy streaks can be seen where furniture and chairs are slid on the floor. This problem is only noticeable when looking at the floor from a distance and the light is shining on the floor from the proper angle. I hope this problem doesnt get worse as dining room chairs are moved around the table. Here is hoping things work out because it was a lot of hard work to install 22 boxes of this product. Beware if ordering online and requesting home delivery that UPS will not deliver more than a couple of boxes due to weight restrictions. If ordering larger quantities of this product a freight company will likely be used which often will not deliver to home addresses. It took three different shipping companies and over a month for my order to arrive. March 8, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not great I don't like the thin gaps that I have between pieces. I did a hallway and laundry room and it was a good quick fix to a floor my wife didn't like. I was planning on doing kitchen too, but after the hallway which has thin crack and spots that are already separating at the seams I am installing hardwood instead. price for hardwood is 4.25 sq ft and cordoba vinyl was 2.69. when I compare prices and add my preference of hardwood the vinyl isn't a good value. I have tools for hardwood installation. I wish I would have had linoleum installed in hallway and laundry room. this flooring is good for small quick fixes. If you have angles there will be much waste. and for me it made me sick to throw away 1/4 to 1/2 pieces of new flooring. February 1, 2016
