Hello dustyroads and thank you for your question.
The TrafficMaster Allure Corfu Resilient Vinyl Plank Flooring is not meant to be a water proofing material or a solution for moisture. Excessive moisture in the subfloor can cause mold, mildew, and other moisture related issues. Under these circumstances, the concrete needs to be treated with a floor sealer that seals the concrete under the 8 lbs. pressure or a moisture/vapor barrier (6 mil poly) should be installed. Page 2 of the Allure Plank and Tile Installation Instructions discusses tests that should be performed before installation over a concrete subfloor: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/72/72845250-3948-4c77-824f-50f17da70f63.pdf.
Additionally, all subfloors must be sound, solid, and have little flexibility (tolerance is 3/16” over 8’).

Thank you for your question...we do not recommend using a steam mop on Allure Grip strip product. The heat from the steam could cause the flooring to lift over time./ You can use any vinyl approved cleaner such as Armstong's Once and Done.

Hello Carol and thank you for your question.
You should not use a steam mop to clean your TrafficMaster Allure 12 in. x 36 in. Corfu Resilient Vinyl Plank Flooring. Steam, and particularly the heat from the steam mop, will affect the adhesive grip strips.
Your TrafficMaster allure floor has been designed to be very easy to maintain. Dust mop or vacuum your floor at least twice a week. Do not use a household dust cleaner of any kind as this may cause the floor to become slick or damage the finish. Simply sweep the floor as often as needed.
Food spills should be cleaned up as rapidly as possible with a quality liquid vinyl cleaner. Make sure the cleaner you choose is an all-purpose liquid cleaner that is NON-ABRASIVE.
Allure One Step cleaner (in gloss or satin finish) is recommended when you have experienced some loss of the original appearance over time.
Never wax this vinyl floor.
There are additional care and maintenance instructions in the owners manual found here: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/0f/0fca8539-207e-4cd2-b319-f8d024ec4d3b.pdf.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by I am 63 and put the floor down in my laundry room, about 9 x 6. It turn out very nice. I am glad I gave this vinyl flooring a try. The quality, thickness, and the finish look made me a believer. I have used the click together vinyl tile before, but this seemed to be easier to install. Like others have said, you need to change the blades on in knife often. It has been a week, my wife loves it. It looks a lot better on the floor when done than looking at a piece out of the box. It more than met my expectations. October 25, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Pleased with Allure purchase The product was easy to install and looks good. I am very pleased with it. October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great priced right The Allure Trafficmaster flooring looks great and installs easily. I understand that Home Depot does not stock it in their stores any more but it is available online. I purchased mine online because of the amount required and H/D delivered it earlier than their estimated delivery time. It came well packed with no damage October 4, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by It is fantastic! This is truly the best flooring I have ever used. I removed my old carpeting in a high traffic room, where we have doorwall and which 2 German shepards and people go outside/in many times a day, carrying in dirt, grit, water and mud. I was worried about the quality of our subfloor but came to find out that this tile has outstanding hiding value on pocked, or flawed subflooring. It floats on it and is thick enough for it not to be an issue at all. The glue is outstanding. You want to take your time when you put the tiles together to get the best fit possible. Watch YouTube videos for install techniques. It is simple to do, really, it is. You'll need a utility knife with a few sharp blades to do your trim work. Buy an extra box if you plan to stagger the tiles. Cleaning the tiles is as simple as wiping them down. Again-outstanding! August 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great stuff Great product, easy to work with and install. Have now done a small bathroom with odd cuts and a larger space (kitchen, hall, 2 baths, dining area) with ease. August 30, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ALLURE FLOORING The flooring was easy to install and looks great. It washes well and dirt doesn't stick for long. THANKS August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent Choice For Fickle Kit/Bath One of the most ridiculous things in many homes is the needless buildup of layers of flooring that's nailed, screwed and glued down, particularly in kitchens and baths that are subject to abuse, moisture damage and more frequent whimsical changes in fashion. Ripping up five or more layers, as I've done repeatedly, is tough, messy, destructive work, but the eventual problems with toilet flanges, transitions to other rooms, and subtle architectural awkwardness eventually brings us to it. Or, maybe you dream of restoring and refinishing the horribly abused original antique tongue and groove floor entombed below, but your budget and schedule just aren't quite ready? I beg you to consider plank vinyl or composite ("Pergo") floors. No glues, no fasteners. When you're sick of it or it's damaged, just lift it up and throw it away. While I'm at it, I'll put in a plug for easily removable wallpaper for the same reason, instead of coat after coat of messy paint followed by layer after layer of new paneling/sheetrock. Our rooms need not shrink! :) August 26, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product love it! I used this product for an island and worked perfectly fine! Love it! February 10, 2016
