The small sample from the store looks a lot darker than on line photo. Does "Red Rock" color go down lighter or darker than expected?

Asked by: Anonymous
It's darker. I had a small sample and it came out way darker overall. I like it - but it is darker.

Will the floor be marked if you walk in heals or move furniture and/or appliances on it?

Asked by: Anonymous
Let me say that I'm a fan of this product. I've installed sheet flooring, carpet and ceramic floor tile. Nothing installs this easy. Its 2x thicker than normal peel and stick tile. But like any vinyl product, it will "dent" if you apply enough pressure. My son's finance' walked on it in heels 24 hrs after install and it did not dent. I've heard some users say larger dogs with sharp claws can scratch it. But I dropped a 10 # stock pot on it the other day ..no dents!

Will this work on screened porch floor, over concrete slab. Temps vary from low teens to 100+ in summer, and humid. Always shaded fm sun.

Is this product going to last 5 years or more????
Asked by: Anonymous
Goes over concrete nicely (doesn't stick down to surface, just rests upon it). Water proof. Don't know about temp variations, but I'd be surprised if that effected it.

Put down Henry Level Pro first to even out floor and fill in the grout lines so they don't come through. The floor is great. Very warm and soft on the feet. I love it. This Red Rock is a lot darker than the samples look or than it looks online - so fyi. It has a lot more dark squiggles in it. I like it but just fyi.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst floor ever This floor curled up on the edges shortly after we installed it. It was the worst stuff ever. Couldn't wait to replace it.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Looks great, tough to work with Just installed these vinyl tiles in one bathroom, will do another one the next weekend. The floor does look rich, and from the installation experience there are reasons to expect toughness and resilience to wear. Now about the installation. I DIY-ed many floor types, and this is far cry from the "The easiest floor ever!" as the box says. The reasons: - it is very dense and hard (which is not a very bad thing later when installed), takes muscles and weight to cut through it, dulls utility knife blade very quickly. - I expected the glue strips to be be covered with a film or parer to be taken off before the install. But to my surprise they are exposed right off the box. So you have no chance to apply the sheets to each other to check the fit, whether you cut them right. - The second problem - the exposed glue strips pick dust, dog hair, cut debris, everything. So you have to keep your workspace as clean as a smartphone assembly line. - Better forget about disconnecting and reapplying the sheets as manual suggests. I tried, it didn't work - the glue strip snapped. You have one shot only to install it. And there is no option to correct the small imperfections with a mallet, as you can do with laminate. So you need to be a sniper, with a cool head, sharp eyes and steady hands to make it look good. Couple of advises: - get a large enough sheet of cheap plywood to use it as a cutting table - the irregular shape cuts are easy to do with the oscillating tool. Just watch out for debris landing on a glue strip.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Still happy after 350 square feet After I finally figured out where to start the Tiles in my room it was pretty easy and went fast when just running rows of tile. It got a little tricky as I was trimming around walls and in and out of doorways but all in all I am pleased with the application and ecstatic with the appearance of my new floor.

I had it installed while I was on vacation in October and when I got home I liked it so much that in addition to my kitchen, I had a block of 9 installed inside of my front door over my new refinished hardwood floor because I was so impressed with how it looked.
