Answer:
You can clean our product with any cleaner that states its safe to use on vinyl. Armstrong's Once and Done works well too. We also make a cleaner/polisher that can be used once a week to continue to protect the floor.

Any of the above will do... I will either sweep or vacuum. If you vacuum, turn off the beater brush so it will not damage your floor. I use a swiffer mop to mop up. I may start using vinegar & water some. I hope you like your floor as much as I do!

I wouldn't use anything moist on laminate flooring, as it is like wood and can separate or warp. Yes, it is water resistant, but you don't want moisture in the cracks. I use a commercial laminate cleaner on the allure. It dusts and shines at the same time.

I would say yes. I wanted to do a moisture test on this product. I took two scrap pieces, joined them, and submerged them in a pan of water for 24 hours . The joint was not damaged. Your mileage may vary.

Hi based on the look and feel of this particular flooring you should be able to use a steam mop. I intend to use one for sure! I would use steam on this flooring before I would consider using on laminate flooring.

I am preparing to lay the Allure flooring and read in the instructions that I should use a floor roller. Is it necessary to use a roller or would another heavy object work. I called up the Home Depot where I bought it and they don't have tool rental department.

We just walked around on the adhesive seams while installing it. I figure at 225 pounds we are just as good if not better then a floor roller. We've installed 6 rooms of Allure vinyl planks in two houses and haven't had it come apart in any of them.

Hi! I have had this same Allure product in a darker color in my bathroom for the past four years and it has stood up to my water mishaps all the time in and out of my deep soak-er tub I love this product! It doesn't show dirt so you can get away with not cleaning it quite so often. You will love it!

I installed my flooring in a small front entry hall & any wetness from the weather is easily cleaned up. I would think the bathroom in the winter would be fine while there would be no one in the house. When you return to use the room, a nice bath/shower mat on the floor would take care of any stray water.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very good and easy install The installation was easy and the only tool required were a straight edge, measuring tape and a sharp knife. I did rent a roller (16$/day) to complete the job but not required. The prep work took longer than the installation. Very easy install. January 8, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy install, looks great! This flooring went directly over a particle board subfloor. The room previously had carpet installed, and had been a complete mess for years. The carpet was moth-eaten and pet stained for an extended period of time, and the room had a moisture problem. I cleared out the room, cut out the carpet, cleaned the subfloor, and screwed down a couple of squeaky floorboards. The floor was level, so I put a coat of flat wall paint down to help seal off any odors. I put these planks down directly on the painted particleboard. The room was about 12x13', and it took me about four hours, including the closet. The floor looks great, hasn't had any problems since I installed it (in May, 2014), and has been very easy to clean. Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product Installed in our kitchen as part of a remodel. Installation was very simple, able to cut to fit fairly easily. Looks great. Installed over existing and love it February 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by We love our new Allure flooring!! We first laid Allure flooring in my sister's linai and loved it, so two years later, we installed it in our bathroom remodel and laid it down over ceramic tile that was 40 yrs old. The tile was in excellent shape with no broken areas....we just did not want the major hassel of ripping it out (we are 70 & 68 yrs. young) and it turned out beautifully. We installed it in our office after ripping up the carpet and the job was a breeze and turned out beautifully again. The following week, we laid the same flooring in my brother & sister-in-law's sun porch and again, they were thrilled with the results. We recommended the flooring to our neighbor and he put it down in a rental throughout the house. Need I say more?? We have three dogs and if I had known about the Allure flooring BEFORE we had laminate flooring installed, we would have put it down throughout our home. March 12, 2015
