Answer:
I believe so. I had the option of shipping to the store or having it being delivered. Because of the quantity that I ordered I opted for it to be delivered for an extra $20. Shipping to the store was free but I figured my time was worth the shipping cost.

I ordered this online and they were offering free shipping with a minimum purchase. It came straight to my home. I looked at this in store and it was a special order. I believe it was an option to pick up in store, but I decided that since it didn't cost me more to have it delivered directly to my front door, I would have that done.

If you order it at the store, they can have it shipped to the store, but in order to take the online discounted price, we ordered online and had it shipped to our home.

Answer:
Hey there Roach,
I don't see that being a problem, given that your backer boards are properly installed as per manufacturer's instructions. There isn't enough depth in the grid designs to cause a problem for you, they would have to exceed 1/8" deep to become problematic. Just ensure that it's level, smooth and free of dirt, dust and debris before installing atop it.

Depending on the existing floor and if there is enough clearance for the existing baseboards. If the current floor is vinyl or this enough it should be OK.

Answer:
It should not. the sticky part is on the edges to connect each piece to the next similar to the way a click lock floor goes together. There is no glue on the underside of the flooring so that it is still a 'floating' floor.

This installation should be a "free floating" floor. That would mean that there is no adhesive is needed/required to be applied to the existing floor.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Check for broken planks check ALL planks - several were broken or cracked on the ends during shipping- had enough to finish project this time -last time we had to return whole box - should be packaged better May 11, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to use! I was quite pleased with this flooring -- both in the ease of installation and in how it looked when I was finished. Using a very sharp blade is essential to cutting the pieces cleanly -- change blades in your utility knife often! My only challenge came at the end of installation, when I needed narrow strips and small pieces to fill in against the far wall and doorway. While it's very easy to snap the flooring when cutting larger pieces width-wise, it's much more difficult to do so when one doesn't have as much leverage. I ended up with some chipped edges and corners that made the seams between pieces quite obvious and required filling in with some wood repair material. January 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by So easy and great looking I have 3 rooms with this product so far. It's easy to install. I'm 8 months pregnant and had an injured arm and still installed it with my husband doing all of the cutting. I'm better at lining the tiles up closely, so we decided this was best. As long as your surface is level, the preparation is minimal. It just needs to be clean and level. It looks like the material it is mocking by using a bit of physical texture and the print of the linoleum. It doesnt feel like wood, but that is really the only big tell-tale. The dogs have longer nails than they should and run chasing their toys frequently and I dont see any scratches yet. October 3, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Mostly easy to install. Good value. I used the "Dark Bamboo" planks for a bathroom of about 120 sq feet.. The planks were *mostly* easy to install. I would note a few things for your DIYers: First, use or rent a vinyl cutting tool built to cut this type of materials. Even if you use a sharp razor it will still leave the edges frayed. Follow the instructions in YourTube. This is fine if you planning to hide it below quarter rounds or baseboards, but exposed edge pieces won't have factory cut look. In a couple of cases, I had to use a jig saw to cut circles and complex shapes. If you you have to use a electric saw take great care to cover the adhesive part of the plank. It will pick up any dusk or debris from the cutting process. Secondly, the installation of the plans needs to be done very carefully and forcefully to ensure that the plants are truly aligned and flushed. Once it sticks, it takes quite a bit of force to remove them. Also, if you apply too much force, it will literal tear off the adhesive and in couple of may cases, it will tear off the entire adhesive lip. Once in, use a rubber mallet to tap the plank firmly in place. Next, plan your installation carefully, especially if you are going to end up with a "balance floor". The first and last row needs to be cut lengthwise to accommodate for that look. You want to floor to look like hardwood floor so make the planks to have the staggered look. You'll likely waste a couple of planks at first but once you get a rhythm, it gets easier. Next, wear knee pads. Yes, I don't know enough weekend projects to have that durable body parts. Hope this help. April 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Not so easy I read all the reviews and hoped this would be a good choice. It was not very easy to use, there are gaps in the rows because the edges are so sticky you don't have any wiggle room to get it in tightly. Some of the edges have started to come up a little. It was intended as a temporary floor anyway so I'm not too concerned, but I wouldn't recommend this as a long term flooring. February 9, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy bathroom install Easy to lay material. Be patient and follow the directions when setting each piece. The adhesive strips can tear easily if you try to reset a plank and you pull to quick. Use heat and pull slowly to separate. Other than that, the floor looks and feels great! December 23, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great! Never install the floor before by myself very easy-to-use looks beautiful looks like a pro did love it I would definitely use it again November 12, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great looking floor This is the 3rd time we have used this product, having installed Country Oak in a den on concrete slab and Light Cork as a kitchen floor in a rental property. This time we installed the Dark Bamboo in our kitchen over existing 25 year old sheet vinyl. It installed easily and looks great. This is a great product for do-it-yourselfers. October 2, 2012
