Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tony Really like this Allure "cork light" finish !!
I must say the hardest part is the prep....although I put in more prep than spec's said was necessary. I re-vamped my kitchen and the flooring is the glue that binds it all together. Including a new $800 dishwasher, floor, and complete paint my kitchen;cost is under $1900. NOW THAT'S THE POWER OF THE HOME DEPOT !!!!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Saxy This is really good looking vinyl
I used this in two bathrooms in a mobile home on Lake Texoma a couple of years ago and liked the way it looked. We recently redid all of the floors in the trailer which included putting a layer of 1/2" plywood down so we had to tear it out. We liked it so much that we have redone both bathrooms and a closet in it.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Gramj334 Very happy 1 1/2 years later
I waited a over a year to write my review because I wanted to see how it held up, and how easy it was care for. Before choosing this product, I read the reviews, and we considered other products. We had spent 41/2 months refinishing the hardwood floors on the first floor of our 90 year old home. This product was to go next the hardwood floor. (We were very pleased with our hardwood floors, but exhausted.) We initially wanted the light bamboo Allure product, but decided that a fake wood grain, no matter how good, wood still look fake next to our now beautiful hardwood floors. So we chose the light cork. I am very happy with my floor. It has held up well. The only complaint I have is that we have an old cart with rubber wheels, and you look real close you can see scuff marks. They do come out. I was amazed that when I discovered a drip of white nail polish that had dried on the floor, it pealed right off! I also spilled some pink fabric paint on it. I wiped this up while still wet. It did not remove completely until I used an eraser sponge on it. But now, you cannot tell where it is. Overall the cork design camouflages the dirt, so I am not compelled to clean it just because of a few crumbs. On the other hand, when I do clean it (I use a swifter mop), it looks just like new! Yes, you can see the lines of the planks if you look closely, but they blend nicely and we usually have to point them out to visitors.
I gave it 4 stars because it was not as easy to install as we thought. Cutting off for the first start, and lack of good instructions. Cutting around items was probably easier than laminate, but we still couldn't get a perfect fit. But with quarter round, all looks good. My husband used an oscillating tool to cut under the door trims so we get a smooth fit there. We would choose this product again.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by jc wow (not in a good way)
I've installed traditional hardwood, snap/click laminate, 1st gen laminate (gluing the tongue/groove), and traditional tile. This was the biggest pain in the... process I've ever encountered. just laying the 2 strips together will create a bond that is strong enough to destroy both planks. Very difficult to maintain a seamless look. Score and snap is a bit of an exaggeration, but if you need to make complex cuts be prepared for some frustration. Also, plan for a lot of waste. every box i had the instruction booklet entirely fused to the strip, (1 board wasted) and the bottom 2 planks in every box were damaged (the grip strips had bent inside the box basically snapping them off. 10 boxes purchased 3 damaged planks in each box. That's $50+ in wasted materials for my small job.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by gmcc180 Easy to install, durable, looks great, great value
We installed in a basement home gym in 2010 because it was affordable, easy to install, and floated over the unfinished basement floor so no floor prep needed. It really warms up the room, it's comfortable to walk on, and it still looks great 4 years later. There could be dents under the heavy weight equipment (we haven't tried moving it to see), but if we ever do more it no problem as we bought extra and can just replace small sections as needed. Now we're planning to do the rest of the basement with this.

My daughter installed 400 SF in 6 hours. It looks good, and seems to be wearing well. I am happy with the product, and with the Hadley Home Depot.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by 2Brains4Corners LOVE THE CORK LOOK!
I love the look of cork floors and wanted it for my bathroom remodel BUT...cork won't work in a bathroom. My nephew who is a contractor had installed several of the vinyl plank floors and said I should look into them. So glad I did! I found Allure had some that look just like cork. They were easy to install and just look terrific! Warm and soft on the feet too. It's only been a few weeks so I don't know about the durability yet but so far I am loving them!

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Karen The finish is too shiny.
This certainly looked easier than it turned out. And "just score and snap" was not true. I had to make several deep score marks to get it to snap, and even then it wasn't easy on small pieces.
I'll blame myself for leaving some seems showing, but the thing that bothers me most about this product is the glare it gives off. When I have the back door open about 15 feet away, the floor looks like a clear piece of plastic!
I chose light cork, but don't think the style would matter. The finish is too shiny. Looks cheap.
