Answer:
We applied this over the previous vinyl floor so I wouldn't see any reason you couldn't put it over particle board. Nothing gets attached down to the subfloor no mater what it is made of. If it is flat, you should be good.

Answer:
This is a floating floor. It sticks to itself. It can be put on any flat surface as long as it is dry and smooth. If you have imperfections on the floor you are laying it on, you should either sand it flat or use a leveling compound to fill in gaps. Otherwise, just go for it.

Answer:
You should be able to, as long as the floor is level. You need to remove the trim to run this flooring underneath, or you'll need to add a shoe moulding onto the trim to cover the edges.

Answer:
We installed directly over laminate flooring in both the kitchen and bath areas. I love it. Easy to keep clean and not quite as slick as wood or tile. For the price you can't beat it. Because of the way it uses sticky strips to connect it, I don't use a steam mop or anything with a lot of water when I clean it.

Answer:
Can pretty much be installed over any flat for the most part sooth surface, including carpet. However, not over anything damp or pron to wetness, would make for some nasty mold conditions and likely over time do damage to the vinyl backside.
I am NOT a professional, going by what I saw when I installed my floor and how the floor felt and looked after installation.

My local Home Depot said she called the company to check and it was ok to use. Just want to find out from someone with personal experience who's used on a radiant heating concrete.

CUSTOMER REVIEWS

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 3495 reviewers.
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by HORRIBLE! FLOOR NEEDS TO BE REPLACED! I bought this product aft.er reading the reviews. I let it sit and acclimate in my house for a full week. Then my wife and I watched videos on installation and the install was done in a day. About 6 months later the joints started to open up! The planks are shrinking in length, some of the gaps a 1/4 inch! The product looked great after we installed it, but now we must replace the entire floor! What a waste of time and money! For the time being, since we cannot afford to replace the floor we have had to buy a large rug to cover the gaps in the flooring! May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Beautiful Floor After the great reviews, I went over to YouTube and watched how the floor is installed. Looked fairly easy. All the reviews are true. April 23, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by horrible product Don't buy this!!! i bought this product for a basement floor as recommended by my friend. The adhesive failed within two months of install and the company would not honor my claim. The CSR who handled my claim basically avoided calling me, and when I did get in touch with her, she indicated my room was too cold (58 in middle of winter). The product warranty indicates an adhesive failure well below this temperature, so it should have held up easily at room temp. They completely disregarded my upset as a customer and shrugged me off after I spent $1000 on their product. #disgraceful March 2, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product So easy to put down! stands up great to pet accidents. I can't wait to get this in my whole house! April 12, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Looks good, poor durability I really wanted to love this product. It's cheap, very easy to install and it looks really good. But the good looks don't last. As soon as we moved furniture back in it scratched- and we were careful and had applied pads to the underside of our furniture. Even the kids playing on it resulted in scratching. Customer service for Allure is TERRIBLE, too. I emailed to see if they had any products to help make the scratches less noticeable and they basically told me "no, and don't expect it to be scratch-proof." Uh, thanks. I didn't. But I did expect something that says resilient right in the name to be a little more hardy. We picked this product because we wanted something that would stand up to kids, but this is not the case. Also, and this may be obvious to some people but I didn't realize, vinyl planks are slippery! My kids have wiped out quite a few times since we installed this. Overall, I don't feel it's a great product for kids. One tip: I think the people who are complaining about it coming up probably didn't rent/use a heavy roller as recommended. We bought this for 3 rooms. After installing the first we thought maybe we could get away with just using a lot of body weight on the hand roller. Nope. That room started coming up at the seams. So we rented the floor roller again for the third room and so far that is holding up fine. April 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Repeat Customer When we bought our house five years ago, we had this floor installed in the entry way and kitchen, by a professional installer, at the same time he installed our carpet everywhere else. The day after this floor was laid, the kitchen sink sprung a leak and water was everywhere. We called TrafficMaster and they told us to immediately sop up all the water and put fans in the room to dry the floors quickly and the glue should hold...and five years later not a single plank has needed to be replaced! After living on these floors with two kids, two cats, and a 100lb dog, we realized we made a terrible decision in not laying this floor throughout the main traffic areas including the living room, hallway, and kid's room. It has held up to so much abuse and still looks fantastic. Our goal was to extend the flooring we already had without having to rip it all up and start over again, and in the end we believe it worked! You can't even tell where the old flooring ends and the new flooring begins, the color matched so well! We did this install by ourselves and I would recommend a good, sharp cutting tool for any odd cuts that need to be made. This floor is a first time DIY-er's dream because there are not a lot of complicated steps or multiple products you need to purchase to do this project right. March 9, 2016
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by If good enough is good enough While the product is super easy to install and use, there are some quirky things that we've noticed. Although its made of vinyl and not wood - there are some expansion and shrink issues that force the seams to open up after the floor has been laid. Sometimes not immediately, but its happened a few places. We decided on this floor for a few other rooms a year ago because we have two very energetic black labs and so far its held up quite well. Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by not sticking? Its a very nice looking floor and very easy to install, it just is not sticking together very well? we installed it during winter months so maybe throughout the warm summer months it will stick together better? we have rolled it time after time but the seams still separate. I would have rated higher but its not sticking and if it never sticks I would have rated it lower.. December 22, 2015
