I will say, that with any flooring as long as you are making sure your floor is level, clean and ready to go, you will have no problem installing this. Just be meticulous in your seams. It will reward you over and over.
My husband installed this in a day, after all the floor prepping of the last week we had to do. Totally worth it. I will say that the color I chose for our bathroom wall darkened a lot after we installed this. That was my only concern, but honestly I should have known better, going from a near white 1990's sheet vinyl to this mid-tone wood color. We love this product, and it is much nicer on the feet than ceramic tile. The slip factor is significantly reduced too. We are going to be using a similar product, as a result, in other areas of our home for future renovation projects.

This flooring was very easy to work with and to install. The instructions were easy to follow and provided good installation tips. We installed 650 square feet in about 8 hours total. We plan to put this same flooring in two additional rooms.
I would recommend this product.

I had never put any type of flooring down in the past and was skeptical of my abilities to get the Allure TrafficMaster flooring installed by myself and have the job turn out well.
To my surprise it was easy. The job was almost fun and very rewarding when I finished. I put it down in a 250 sf room, it took about 8 hours. It looks great and I would recommend it to anyone. This product is very well designed, it cuts with a box cutter and is almost hard to mess up.

Installed this in the entry, kitchen, dining area. Looks great. Easy to install. Feels good to walk on.
I like that it floats on an underlayment and is not glued to the floor.

The floor is gorgeous and I am super happy. it did take 11 hours to install so I thought maybe they should have sent two people on the job. a little surprised as my kitchen is not that big 152 sq ft. I was a little surprised that one full box was damaged looks like by the forklift and it was still delivered to my house and I still had to pay for it. But all in all I am very pleased with my floor and how it looks!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Jack We like the looks of the Country Pine even better than we thought we would.
This type flooring does cause a little clap noise when walking across it.
FYI Home Depot does not carry the trim in the store to go with the Allure flooring but it is available online.
FYI the floor being laid over must be very level. If it is not some type filler/leveling agent must be applied to create a very level floor with no low spots.
FYI in addition if laid over concrete the concrete must be sealed or a moisture barrier must be installed between the concrete and the Allure flooring.
Note: we did have the flooring laid by a professional. There were a lot of closets and door ways to be cut around so I didn't feel comfortable laying it myself.

OK - I have now used this product twice. The first time, I installed it in my master bath and my son's bathroom. That was a little tricky - I was very new at DIY type work, so there was a pretty big learning curve, and I wasted a little with mistakes - still cheaper than having someone else do it. Then, there was a water leak in my rental. I tried to go cheap with peel and stick planks - however, after all of the floor prep you have to do, the cheap stuff ends up being a little more expensive! So, I took all of that back and got the country pine luxury planks - they went down SO EASILY! It is a small bedroom, so there were only a few tricky places - like that last row. However, with a T square and a razor, even the tricky parts are not too hard. I also learned you really do not need to press really hard with the razor - just score it lightly - they snap perfectly! If you have tiny pieces to snap, save your fingers and use a pair of pliers - easy peasy. I love that they are durable - the floor in my bathroom has been there for about 5 years with no troubles. With renters, these are the obvious choice! When you consider the price for carpet, plus installation, plus cleaning the carpets every time renters change, plus the fact that carpet looks horrible after the first renter - you really can't go wrong with these! If they spill something, it can just be mopped right up - no stains! As soon as my renter moves out (they are not clean people - and they completely ruined the carpets beyond repair), I am laying these in the rest of the house - the job will probably take me maybe 2 days, tops - and the second day would just be reserved for putting down the quarter round. I found that the country pine color is very forgiving - if you accidentally have a tiny gap between planks, the grey underneath really does not how through...it just looks like part of the pattern.
By the way - quarter round is not hard to do! You can cut it with a hand saw, and if you use a mitre cut box (again, around $10), the corners are easy - just realize you will use caulk to fill in the little gaps.
Just a note if you are laying in the bathroom - you will want to take your toilet UP - otherwise, it will not look nice. It is not as hard as people think - just get a new wax ring (about $10) for when you put the toilet back down.
I definitely recommend these floors - they are simply beautiful!

The material was very easy to install. Looks like real wood.
Easier to install than laminate and just as durable if not more so.
