Answer:
Hi Brisnana, the manufacture stated, you are not to use a steam mop on this product as it can damage the floor. The glue can come loose and the steam damage the planks.

Answer:
Yes, as long as the wood is even you will not have a problem. Our tolerance level is 3/16” over 8’ for original (grip strip) and 1/8” over 4’ for Ultra.

Rated 4.8 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love Our New Floors We spent Memorial Day weekend installing this flooring in 4 rooms of our downstairs living area. It was hard work to accomplish so much space in such a short period of time, but the ease of installing this product and the quality of the product helped a lot. June 9, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Looks great! We have dogs, so I wanted something that looked like wood, but would be waterproof against accidents. When we first started installing it, it was a little difficult. We started in the hallway where we had alot of areas we had to cut. Once we moved past that, it was fairly easy. When installing it, you have to make sure that the pieces are lined up perfectly. No gaps or overlaps. Don't try to stick a plank down more than twice. The adhesive can pull loose. We learned that from a few mess-ups. Once we had each piece down, we used a rubber mallet & a blow dryer. It seemed to work pretty well. We also left a little space (maybe about 1/8") to avoid the floor buckling. I am very happy with the floor right now. We have had it down for almost 3 weeks now. Now I'm trying to talk my husband into putting it into our bedroom. August 2, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome product with a great look I wish I had known about this product before. It is so easy to install and looks amazing. noone can tell that they are standing on vinyl when they are in our basement. I really looks great. January 11, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy and Fast to Install Easy to install. Looks great. The only thing I don't like is that it smells like a skunk. I'm being serious. I've had the floor in now for a week. I don't know if the smell is due to the adhesive or just the materials the product is made from. But, like I said, it smells just like a skunk. Not enough to run you out of your home. But, if you go into the room that you install it in, you will be able to smell it. No idea to know if the smell will ever go away. Other than that, the product is great. Would have given it a 5 star rating if it wasn't for the smell. July 15, 2012
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product The product was very easy to work with. There are a couple of issues that probably apply with all flooring, this was my first diy flooring job. Your first row needs to be absolutely straight, if not you will start to get gaps between the planks that are just dust catchers. The second thing is the smell. I noticed one other person refer to the smell. The product does have an odor, but no one noticed it but me. Within two weeks the odor was gone. Have had it down several months now and I am quite pleased. April 29, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very easy to install, looks great Very easy to install and work with. Didn't take us but 3 hours to finish a 12x22' room and hallway. Intricate cuts around our fireplace were very easy to do with just a razor knife. Floor has a nice finish to it-looks like real wood planks. Friends recommended this product to us after having good results with it themselves. December 13, 2011
