Answer:
Add up the total square footage of the space u wish to cover. Then divide it by the amount in each box. This will give you the total boxes. Add 10-15% for waste

Multiply room size then divide by how many square feet in each box. Works out pretty well.

Answer:
You would need to multiple the length of the room by the width and divide by 24. That will give you the amount of boxes you will need.

Thank you for your question. This product uses GripStrip installation technology, not click lock. It is a floating floor. For more information about GripStrip installation technology, please click here: http://www.homedepot.com/catalog/pdfImages/e3/e3fdf340-3d3a-41e3-bf47-36f18805a412.pdf

Allure 6 in. x 36 in. Light Teak Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring (24 sq. ft. / Case) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 21.
Rated 1 out of 5 by from Scratches easily yes, it's super easy to install. I'll let you know how easy it is to tear out because that's what we are going to have to do since after a week it's already scratched up, just from sliding my chair back and forth during normal use. I was told by trafficmaster that the floors have to be protected, i have to put felt on the bottom of anything I slide across the floor. that's ridiculous. A floor should be decent enough that you can actually move your chair during normal use and not have it scratch the floor. Do not buy this flooring.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Armstrong Allure Vinyl Plank Flooring I really loved this product in Blonde Maple when I first put it down in the basement. It was a tremendous improvement over the berber carpet and it gave the room a clean and airy look. It was super easy to install and looked beautiful for the first couple of months. However, after 2 months I noticed some of the plank edges were coming up so I used my seam roller to reattach them. After a day or two, the seams became unattached again and in places had a buckling, raised effect. I still loved the look of the floor so I recently purchased ecoglue and re-glued the seams. Now when I come downstairs I notice another seam that has become unattached and I have to use the glue to adhere the planks to each other. I have just about reglued every seam at this point. When installing the floor I followed the instructions to a T so I firmly believe this is definitely a design flaw in the product. Armstrong is going to have to do something about the adhesive on their product if they want a long standing, quality product and satisfied customers. The flooring material itself is beautiful and very realistic looking. The glue/adhesive material is subpar. If a friend were to ask me about the flooring I would tell them about the glue problems. I believe this would be a deal breaker for many. Too bad, because I really love the look of the plank flooring product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Product for the Money. I have been using this product on some of my rentals for the past 5 years, in entry ways and hallways. and liked the way it has held up. Then during Thanksgiving when they had it half price, I decided to get it for two more rentals. It has the rich look of wook without the work of wood. I installed it myself, I did not install it per instructions, because of my last install I had about 5% waste. So this time I laid it from one corner of the home and did the one room, when I hit a wall i used the remainder to start the next room, and then the next room after that. When done with the first strip I went back to where I started and put down the second row. If I had to stop I used the wax papert to cover the adheasive edges to keep them clean. Also I vacumed the floor continuesly to keep it from getting on the adheasive part of the planks. Keep the scraps as they can be used for wall edges and corners. After doing the whole home except for the bathrooms, I laid out a little over 1400 sq feet of the product and ended up with just 2 sq feet of waste pieces. That is about .14% waist! I had so much left over I started to do a third one. My only regret is that I may have to wait until next Thanksgiving to get this deal again? It pays to watch for that "Deal of the Day". My only reason for down grading the Installation is they want you to do a prymide pattern, while easier to do wastes much more product. Also the heasive tends to stick to one side if you have to remove them for some reason. On the quality I do wish the finished layer was a little thicker. Handle the boxes carefully as if they are drop on the box edge the planks damage easily. I was lucky as only three boxes were slightly damaged out of 110 boxes.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this product I have a very high traffic kitchen, we come and go from the door in the kitchen, so I wanted something on the floor that would hold up, and wasn't very expensive because my whole kitchen needs to be remodeled and I didn't want to spend a ton on the floor right now. Anyway..... this product was installed by Home Depot in January '12 and I LOVE it. It is nice looking and people think we installed wood floors until I tell them its vinyl. The floor itself if easy to clean, I can damp mop, or just wipe up spills. The installation took a little longer then expected, but only because the installers wanted to make sure the floor was installed correctly. We have been through a variety of temperatures and the floor looks just as good in the heat and humidity of a VT summer as it did in the cold of winter. I would highly recommend this product for any room that is high traffic. I am hoping to have this installed in a bathroom next.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent floor covering product. Relatively easy to install. Very attractive and extremely durable. Probably one of the best floor covering products available while very affordable.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Product is not as easy to install as previous noted on box. The flooring is ok until you make a mistake and have to take a piece or two up. The glue sticks tight and when pulling a piece up it is easy to damage the piece you are pulling up, as well as the ones it is attached to. Next time I am going back to laminate or engineered wood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Terrific product. Well worth the money. Easy to install This is my second installation of the allure product and it is simply amazing. I did thetile installation in one room and I did the wood installation in another both look like the real thing and install very easily... highly recommended
