I bought this after looking at real wood and laminate wood flooring stock, not just at the Home Depot but other local area flooring companies. I agonized whether this would be as nice as real wood flooring. It truly looks just like real wood and is durable like vinyl. I had a professional install it so I can't speak to ease of installation--although he made it look easy--I wouldn't attempt this on my own!
I just had it installed last month so I can't speak to the LONG term durability but I have two dogs who are always tracking in dirt and other stuff and are running around etc., and so far so good, it stands up to them...
I think this is one of the best faux wood/vinyl products out there; I researched many other competitors out there (Armstrong among them) I ordered many vinyl wood samples from all over the country--but Trafficmaster's was by far the most realistic in color, texture and overall visual appeal than any other vinyl/wood product. They actually put a wood grain in the texture that other competitor's products either don't bother to do or do an inferior job, which lends a more realistic touch/feel to this product. Especially under bright sunlight conditions when you look at this product versus others brands you see the other vinyl products look very fake in texture and don't fool the eye. If you don't care if the product looks all that realistic then other products can suit your needs just as well.
The only downside was the actual vinyl plank is rather thin coming in at around .15 mm many others are made thicker. The thicker products tend to have less give/flexibility so for some applications this might not be a good thing to use.
They have a vast variety of wood types and colors (pine, oak, bamboo etc.) most all of the product lines they carry are "special order" they only carry oak, cherry and teak in store (maybe this varies depending on region?), which is a bummer because they have tiny 4"x4" samples and you really cannot tell what the entire plank will look like until you order it, and if you make a mistake in color or decide you don't like it the Home Depot states they will charge you a restock fee which can be 25% of the overall price of the order! Yikes, so be SURE before you order so you don't have to spend more money returning it and buying another color! I took every little 4x4 and laid it out to see the variation in color, because like real wood, the tones and wood characteristics will change in the planks! Take a bunch home with you too (they are free in my local stores) and lay them out-- it will save you some surprises later.
The prices at Home Depot were very reasonable versus the price of the laminates and real wood materials. I did my research and I kept coming back to this one. It looks great!

Love the product, used it many times. First time I bought this product that was not stocked in stores. BEWARE!!! I have one damaged, unusable case and since this product is truck shipped, I have to wait 1 1/2 weeks for a replacement. Floor 1/3 done, damaged case laying around, exposed adhesive for well over a week in a child's room, furniture coming next week equals screw Home Depot and their service level!!!! 5 bucks off for my troubles!!!

Allure flooring is just what I was looking for -- hard wearing, attractive, and reasonably priced. Oh, and don'the forget the easy installation.

As a general contractor I'm in a HD sometime 3x's a day (not for the faint of heart). One day I was walking by this luxury vinyl plank flooring and I was in the middle of a remodel for a commercial shopping center space for a retailer. Long story short the tenant decided to give it a try and after waiting about 7-10 days for the color choice my guys installed about 600 sq ft. on a slab. Went in about 6 hours with almost zero waste . So far the customer tells me that they receive tons of complements and no one has any idea what it is. Most think it's hardwood. Seems to be wearing like a champ. I have plenty of HD horror stories. This isn't one of them. I have another job coming up and I'll be using it again. Big Bang for the buck.
