The floor looks beautiful. It was extremely easy to install, and there was such little waste that we returned the 10% extra which had been suggested we buy. However, the floor will mark from sliding things across it, even though we put pads under every leg. These marks do not clean off, so I am hoping they will wear away over time. This is why I rated the quality as average.

I like the look of wood flooring but not how it reacts to water. This floor appears to solve any concerns with moisture. I like the fact that it is a floating floor so the subfloor doesn't have to be perfect. I'll have to see how it holds up to wear, scratching, sun, etc. over time, but so far I've gotten nothing but compliments.

I bought this after looking at real wood and laminate wood flooring stock, not just at the Home Depot but other local area flooring companies. I agonized whether this would be as nice as real wood flooring. It truly looks just like real wood and is durable like vinyl. I had a professional install it so I can't speak to ease of installation--although he made it look easy--I wouldn't attempt this on my own!
I just had it installed last month so I can't speak to the LONG term durability but I have two dogs who are always tracking in dirt and other stuff and are running around etc., and so far so good, it stands up to them...
I think this is one of the best faux wood/vinyl products out there; I researched many other competitors out there (Armstrong among them) I ordered many vinyl wood samples from all over the country--but Trafficmaster's was by far the most realistic in color, texture and overall visual appeal than any other vinyl/wood product. They actually put a wood grain in the texture that other competitor's products either don't bother to do or do an inferior job, which lends a more realistic touch/feel to this product. Especially under bright sunlight conditions when you look at this product versus others brands you see the other vinyl products look very fake in texture and don't fool the eye. If you don't care if the product looks all that realistic then other products can suit your needs just as well.
The only downside was the actual vinyl plank is rather thin coming in at around .15 mm many others are made thicker. The thicker products tend to have less give/flexibility so for some applications this might not be a good thing to use.
They have a vast variety of wood types and colors (pine, oak, bamboo etc.) most all of the product lines they carry are "special order" they only carry oak, cherry and teak in store (maybe this varies depending on region?), which is a bummer because they have tiny 4"x4" samples and you really cannot tell what the entire plank will look like until you order it, and if you make a mistake in color or decide you don't like it the Home Depot states they will charge you a restock fee which can be 25% of the overall price of the order! Yikes, so be SURE before you order so you don't have to spend more money returning it and buying another color! I took every little 4x4 and laid it out to see the variation in color, because like real wood, the tones and wood characteristics will change in the planks! Take a bunch home with you too (they are free in my local stores) and lay them out-- it will save you some surprises later.
The prices at Home Depot were very reasonable versus the price of the laminates and real wood materials. I did my research and I kept coming back to this one. It looks great!

I installed this flooring in a small bathroom that had good, but old, sheet vinyl. The hard part was trimming to fit around the door jambs and odd corners. I used a Dremel tool and grinding bit to open up a space in the wood for the flooring to slide under, then caulked and painted the gap, which made it disappear. I did not have a pair of shears that would cut the vinyl, which might have made it easier. It looks terrific, and repeals water. I like the textured surface, too. It lays flat and feels solid. At the door, I just cut the planks long enough to slide under the hall carpet, so I didn't need a transition piece.

I ordered it, had it sent to our home and I (a 50 year old female DIYer) installed it the following weekend. We wanted a modern great looking wood look flooring that was water resistant. We installed it in our laundry room, hall and small bathroom. Going right over our existing vinyl sheet floor saved labor and we saved installation costs by installing it ourselves. The floor looks Great!! My son even commented that it looks better than our "real" wood floor in the kitchen.
