We've now installed our allure flooring and are really pleased with the results. The color/grain matches perfectly the (real) wood trim around our windows and doors as well as the wood flooring in other parts of our house. It was *relatively* easy to install. The only thing worth nothing is that it's thin so you can feel any bumps or irregularities in the floor below it (even if they are very small). Also, it's not as scratch resistant as we expected.

What an absolutely fantastic product! If you are a home improvement type person, you will find this to be a wonderful and easy product to use. Working with old laminate, crooked walls and an uneven floor (due to an old unused vent in the hallway and old electric boxed in the dining room floor ), this product cured all the stumbling blocks in our hallway and dining room. It was easy to cut with a regular sharp cutting blade and straight edge. It easily went over the vent and electric box covers. It looks and feels like real wood flooring and has added such a warm feeling to our home. If you are not a handy person and have never worked with flooring before you could easily master this item with some practice if you have basic common sense and patience. Highly recommended.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by chessie Excellent product
This flooring was the perfect solution for our laundry room. I didn't want to spend a lot of money or time upgrading the floor. This had a nice look and was easy to install - really just took an afternoon. The only downside was that a few planks had broken pieces either on the adhesive part or a little edge from rough handling during shipping. We were able to work around those, fortunately, because otherwise we would have had to wait to get another whole carton shipped since only a few of the finishes are carried in the stores.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by GhettoMama Amazing product for parents of young kids
I have two little kids, two gigantic dogs with a severe fear of manicures, and a husband who thinks foot wiping is for ladies. This floor has stood up to all of that for over a year and still looks like new. It was the easiest thing in the world to install (hubby and I did it fight-free in one day) and cheaper than anything that looks half as good. I'm super pleased with it and about to buy some more.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nicky Is coming up & very hard to clean
Initially, it looks beautiful. I have had this flooring for about 15 months. It was professionally installed. The planks are starting to come apart, and are coming up from the floor. This is pitched as being good for people with dogs. WRONG! This floor scratches very easily, and is terribly difficult to clean. Do not buy. It's junk.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by SuburbanGal Scuffs all over... worst purchase ever!
I had this floor installed professionally about 4 months ago. It took 2 professionals 10 hours to put it down in my kitchen, laundry room and a small bathroom. We went with Home Depot installers and they did a 5 star job. No seams are lifting.
The Pros: Floor feels great under your feet... I love it in windowless rooms (bath and laundry room). Looks clean all the time in those areas. It doesn't show every water drip like my old laminate did.
The Cons: Even though my kitchen has no windows, it is next to a sunroom so I have a lot of indirect light streaming in...... everything leaves a shiny scuff mark on the otherwise dull, matte finish. Kitchen stools have felt slides, chairs have plastic slides. Every shoe leaves a scuff. Sure I can get on my hands and knees once a week and use a Scotchbrite pad and scrub the entire floor... but I have no intention of doing that. I've bought 5 different cleaners and none of them will remove the scuffs without some serious scrubbing. I've tried vinegar, rubbing alcohol and other things too. What worked best was Acetone... thankfully I tried that on a scuffed sample and not the floor because the Acetone took off part of the brown and left a white streak.
Maybe some of the colors don't scuff as badly? I am at my wit's end dealing with this floor. If anybody has a way of cleaning the scuffs off this floor without scrubbing it on my hands and knees I'd love to know what it is. Wishing I'd went with a inexpensive sheet vinyl.

Installed by a handyman in a bathroom. Took approximately 3 hours. Small cost for major transformation!

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by KFNY Looks good in our small kitchen
We were looking for an easy-to-install floor that wouldn't look cheap. The vinyl faux stone floors appeared too noticeably phony, so we decided on vinyl wood planks to install over the existing kitchen linoleum, which was very old and uneven due to its design ("brick" with very wide and deep "grout" lines). The vinyl went down easily and, so far, isn't buckling in the recessed areas of the old floor. The wood pattern looks seamless, and the floor surface is very easy to maintain. We'd definitely recommend it to those looking for a neat, clean style that is low cost and pretty effortless to install.
