Customer Questions & Answers

we want 600 sq ft of allure flooring shipped to a house that is vacant. Will they call or e-mail when it is delivered??

Asked by: Anonymous
Ted, Read my review. I was not happy with the delivery service. You are better off picking it up at the store. The delivery service only drops and runs. I had to carry the boxes up the driveway in the rain with zero help from the driver. Thank goodness i was home. Talk to your store manager for the best option.

Allure 6 in. x 36 in. Pacific Pine Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring (24 sq. ft. / Case) is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 101.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Flooring! Installed this product today in a small condo. Flooring was easy to score, cut, and looks just like real wood! We used tin snips, a box cutter, a level, and a square. My son-in-law installed approximately 400 square feet and it took about 6 hours. I was looking for something to warm up the condo (it's all white) and Pacific Pine fits the bill! I highly recommend this product.

Love the color and ease of installation. Looks so great! The weathered look of Pacific Pine hides imperfections. We used 29 boxes, and all boxes blended well together. My only complaint, is that the flooring seems to dent easily. For example, when installing the floor, we had a garbage can in the basement, and at one point dragged it rather than lifted it. If you now look at the floor at a certain angle, in a certain light, you can see a mark. So I suggest lifting anything that could possibly leave a mark. That being said, because Pacific Pine is a weathered/distressed look, these marks are not very noticeable.

Installation was easy, however the videos referenced by the installation instructions pointed to the wrong product. I had to search for a while on YouTube to find someone who had installed this exact product. But I did find a few videos and after watching them I felt confident in my ability to get the job done. My installation was only 120sq ft, but it looks really amazing with the new flooring. I would definitely purchase this flooring again.

It is super easy to work with and looks great. The install was a 225 sq ft office with a concrete floor that had quite a few imperfections to cover up. Very little prep, just need a sharp razor blade and a square . It is a good idea to shop vac handy to make a pass before and a few more during the job.

We started laying it, everything was going smoothly, liked the color and texture. Easy to peel and attach to one another until we got about 250 sq ft down, then the glue tabs were different sizes. Some were too thin, some were too wide, some left a gap, the wide ones over lapped the flooring. What a nightmare. I contacted the "local" home depot (40 minutes away), no answer, called again & got put on hold forever, hung up and called back, got transferred to the flooring dept, no answer-disconnected. Gave up and called another store, 1 hour away. Talked to the flooring dept, he talked with the manager, we were told to bring back all the flooring. I confirmed bringing back all of the flooring and getting a different kind because I couldn't wait to reorder, I had contractors at my house waiting for me to get back. Pulled up all the flooring, loaded and headed to Home Depot only to have the manager tell me he thought it was $250 worth of flooring, not 23 cases. Not sure how this was misunderstood.... big difference between the two. Anyway, the current store didn't have the flooring I was using, didn't have enough of the other color that I liked but the manager, Jeremy, was very attentive, got on the phone with the other store, did my refund and called the other store again to make sure that they had what I wanted, had them pull it all from the same pallet and have it up front waiting for me. Admittedly, I was upset, I've had nothing but trouble from HD lately. Broken items, non working products, have had to make many returns, load heavy purchases myself, waiting in long lines, computer systems down... Id just about lost all my patience and never want to shop at HD ever again. Jeremy was very nice, got the flooring squared away and made things right. I had to drive all the way to the first store to pick up the new flooring, and so far, so good. The new flooring is not the adhesive kind, it's the click & lock and I have to say, it looks nicer, seems to be better quality and I've been reassured that it will stand up to bathroom & kitchen wear & tear. It better after all of this. I would not suggest purchasing the adhesive flooring unless you are sure that all the flooring matches up, and you won't know until you open the box and start looking at the adhesive strips.

After much research of what direction I wanted to go in, I chose this flooring to put in my kitchen, utility and guest bathroom, which all are connecting rooms. I did not want to have any transitions between the 3 rooms and wanted it to flow. I installed this myself. I had old nasty sheet vinyl and laid this on top of it. I wanted a floating floor "in case" I messed up somewhere. The floor is absolutely beautiful and I couldn't be more happy. It's very easy to cut with a sharp utility knife and used tin snips for some of the cut outs. I can't wait to share the picture!! It's a little slippery at first but I think it's getting better. I cleaned with apple cider vinegar and water.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from You pay for what you get. I don't love this product. It LOOKS beautiful however it is NOT durable. The scuff marks are beyond ridiculous and there is no getting that shine back, at all! It's so frustrating. It also separates at the seams far too easily. This was installed by a professional and I stil find mindself walking over to the edge of a plank because it is not completely sticking down and jumping and pushing on it to get it to go back down. I have a dog and his nails have marked up the floor. If I have my vacuum on, with the roll spinning, it leaves marks on the floor. (It took me a while to figure that out) I couldn't really afford anything more expensive but you really do pay for what you get.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Like the floor We installed this flooring in our entry way and entry way from our garage into a bathroom and laundry room...I love the look of the floor and seems easy to clean. My Husband is installing the floor he says it's not hard but there's alot of cuts had to pull a toilet and then dropped it trying to bring it back into the house..so I'm happy so far but I did read someone had said they had alot of scratches, well first off in upper entry I noticed like a shiny mark not really a scratch and in lower level same thing not sure what that's from but I'm hoping this floor doesn't get anymore of that. So I love the floor easy to clean but it's just weeks old, just me and my husband live in the house time will tell
