Ted, Read my review. I was not happy with the delivery service. You are better off picking it up at the store. The delivery service only drops and runs. I had to carry the boxes up the driveway in the rain with zero help from the driver. Thank goodness i was home.

It seems that you already realize it is a floating piece and therefore not intended for walls. However, if you wanted to use it for walls you could do this: (note that this would void the warranty). Either install it on the wall from top down, bottom up, or one side to the next, and not only adhere the pieces to one another as normal, but also either glue them to the wall or nail them. Another option would be to carefully measure your wall and build the whole thing as "one big piece" that you then put up and tack with nails here and there. From my experience with the product, this would work well, but again, there are no guarantees...this would be a DIY project that you'd "do at your own risk." Read Less

Customer Reviews

Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 50 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Fantastic Flooring: Easy Install, Durable, Looks Gorgeous! I cannot say enough good things about this flooring! I had mine shipped to home and all arrived in perfect condition. Pieces from various boxes all blended well with one another. (I did not have to open all the boxes and mix them up to get them to look right.) Installation is the easiest I've ever done...my husband an I did our entire downstairs in a weekend (about 1600 square feet). Went right over our subfloor, and I love the fact that you can just sweep before installing...the floor underneath does not have to be perfectly spotless. Cuts easily with a razor knife or tin snips (I used both). Regarding this specific color (Pacific Pine), it looks so real, I've had Realtors walk into my house and think it's real wood, and bend down to touch it. Because of its rustic finish, it is also very forgiving...even when we installed the matching quarter round throughout the house, we didn't even have to fill in the nail heads because they blend right in. It's extremely easy to clean with either a vacuum, broom, or Swiffer Wet Jet. (Do not use a steam mop on it due to the adhesive.) I have kids, pets, and an active household. There has been no damage from any of it. However, it is nice to know that if a spot did get damaged, we would be able to replace just that one piece without having to tear up the whole floor. We've had water spill and sit on it for a weekend with zero damage of any kind. I do see that some other reviewers complain of "scratches," which I can't imagine. Unless your chair's feet are made of pointy nails, nothing will gouge this stuff. If you are sliding things on it without felt feet, it could make a shiny spot, (which can be avoided by simply lifting and carrying things or using felt feet), but even then, you'd be hard pressed to see it and even then, only at a certain angle in a certain light. Here are some tips others might find helpful: ~You can use the "papers" you pull off each piece to make "templates" for more complicated cuts, such as around a column. ~Buy a pack of razor blades and change the blade in your razor knife often. Use tin snips or even good quality kitchen shears for more detailed cuts. ~If you have any nails sticking up from your subfloor, pound them in, and put a little dab of adhesive over them so they won't pop up under your flooring later. (I find that ones which have popped up in the past are likely to pop up again.) ~The matching quarter rounds and transition strips match perfectly and work really well. I've also used this flooring in another color, for a rental property I own. Kids, giant dogs, etc...looks just as perfect as the day we installed it. I'll be using this product in every home I own from now on. August 15, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great in our Coffee Shop! We needed a product easy on the budget and looked rustic, but was durable. This product checked all the boxes! Recently we had a water leak. Our flooring installer was able to pull up the affected area, dry out the underlayment and repair the floor. Nothing to it! May 24, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Excellent product This is a really great option. It goes down easily. My brother in law installed it and it looks great. Even next to real wood. Very good value. August 16, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Waste of money. This product looked beautiful when we finished installing. Until 10 minutes later when my dog walked across the floor and it was completely destroyed. I would not suggest this product to anyone. It's horrible. July 30, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Not a good fit Ordering and pick up was easy; communication was great! The color was just not a good fit. July 12, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Worst purchase ever The salesman told us that this floor was very durable and would not scratch. It's true it would not scratch but if you slide a recliner ( that I put felt strips on the bottom) then it leaves a shiny mark on the floor. I would not buy this product again. I feel I was misinformed about the durability by Home Depot. In case you want to know an observation then read this. This product needs a double sided plank for areas that you have to install it to the left. I don't know why a design team couldn't figure this out. If you try to lift it to install, running to the left, then the butt seams separate a little not to mention the anxiety of trying to keep the plank up that you are trying to fit another under it. I guess that's it. I will not buy anymore of this product and I will tell anyone who asks me about the downside of this product. I will be buying more flooring for the rest of my house and it WILL NOT BE ALLURE. July 12, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by LOVE THE LOOK LOVE THE LOOK OF THE FLOOR.... EASY INSTALL....LOOKING TO BUY MORE FOR THE KITCHEN REMODEL. June 30, 2016
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Disappointed Not happy with this product. Looks very cheap and the first day it got some scuff marks when we moved the furniture over it. I have tried every hint online to remove the scuff marks and it just will not disappear. June 24, 2016
