Answer:
Thank you for your interest in Allure Plus Alabama Oak Resilient Vinyl Plank Flooring. The impression of the existing vinyl should not come through. The floor flatness tolerance is 1/4" over 10'. A floor leveler should be used when exceeding tolerance.

Answer:
As long as the existing vinyl sheets aren't embossed too deep, then you can install your new vinyl planks over it without having to worry about telegraphing, or it replicating the pattern.
However, if it is deep (more than 1/4") then you will be leveling embosser to do the trick of leveling everything so the new planks won't experience telegraphing.

Answer:
Hi Orangemango, this floor does not require any glue, nail or other type of adhesive. This floor does not click lock.
This floor secures itself using technology called grip strip. One plank secures itself to another.
Check out the introduction page 2 of the owners manual.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very Thick I did not lay this product.... But I wanted to let some inquiring minds know that I did order the sample of this and I was shocked when it finally came in the mail. I was skeptical about vinyl flooring and my husband said we most certainly are NOT putting it down in our living room. But I wanted to prove him wrong, so I ordered a sample of this in the Alabama Oak. I... we.. couldnt believe how HARD this product is. Its rock solid. You couldnt bend it in half if you tried! This, in my book, is 100X better than laminate. I ordered 4 samples of the cheaper version (just the regular traffic master allure) Im waiting on those to come in before I decide. I thought I would let everyone know this is a nice product with nice texture (im assuming that texture is supposed to be there). Im leaning towards vinyl bc I have a dog, we are messy country people, and the humidity in alabama is ridiculous. I didnt want to have to worry with swelling, bowing, keeping the temperature and humidity under control. I just want something easy to maintain that looks good. The downside is I planned on laying this myself... Seems like you would need more than a utility knife to cut it. February 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this floor! The lower level hallway and bathroom in our home previously had carpet (hallway) and tile (bathroom). We live on a lake and this area is used by people with wet, sandy feet and dripping swim suits. A pipe broke in the ceiling which ruined the carpet so I used this "opportunity" to change to a flooring product that would be easy to clean and appropriate for the type of use this area gets. I found it in this wonderful product by Allure, called Allure plus. It looks amazing, (people comment about the new "wood" floor) and is much easier to keep clean than tile (grout can be a pain). I have the original Allure flooring in my laundry room and I love that, so it wasn't a difficult decision to go with this new product which has the great same performance features, but looks more like real wood. We installed it over a cement floor and it is not cold and is soft to walk on. I would highly recommend this product. July 29, 2013

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Vinyl plank flooring Great look at a fraction of cost of hardwood floor, installation was quick and easy. Cleaning is also a breeze. November 11, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by This product was easy to install and easy to maintain. I had purchased the Alabama Oak originally for my hall and dining room. When I saw the ease of installation and the overall appearance, I wanted it for my living room as well. I had to order it through the States (I live in a border city in Ontario) so it was more complicated but I'm glad I persevered. It still needs to be installed (once the warm weather comes and my installer comes home from Florida!). March 25, 2014
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Love this flooring This flooring is very easy to install, looks fantastic, just like real wood but with the added benefits of being easy to clean, warm , quiet and traffic durable. We have a large family so whatever we were going to install had to meet rigid requirements . July 22, 2014
