It has a slight sheen to it but I would consider it a matte finish.

All grey or beige undertones?

Hi! Does the grey maple have any beige undertones or are the planks completely grey? I am having a hard time finding a medium colored grey/beige floor in the Allure Plus. Any suggestions would be very helpful! I was also looking at the Northern Hickory grey (which looks brown online) and the spotted gum. Thank you in advance!
Asked by: lisalisafrench
Mostly grey and brown. I wouldn't call it beige. The tiles are darker (see my picture) rather than lighter grey.

Allure Plus Grey Maple Resilient Vinyl Plank Flooring looks like the real deal - wood. I laid the floor with ease, spread out over two days for a total job time of 13-hours. This is our second Allure Plus Floor Project in two-years. My wife and I love this product. We are getting so many compliments about the floor from family and friends.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Something to consider So this is a free floating vinyl floor. It comes in 3 foot lengths and has overlapping glued joints. It is simple in principal to install but you really need to perfect a technique to install because the glue is unforgiving. Installed it looks great. It cuts easily with a sharp utility knife. Use a small square to get nice angles. I think a modestly capable person can easily install it. It does scratch and it will dent but it takes a lot to dent it. Don't slide furniture and be sure if you have hard plastic or metal tabs on the bottom of furniture legs you must remove them or they will scratch. The underpayment needs to be smooth and flat. Mind the 1/8 inch perimeter gap because this stuff does move and if you install it too tight it will buckle a bit. If you mess up on the install, get a blow dryer and heat the glue strips to get then to separate without ruining the piece. If you have kids and pets that are hard on floors and you don't want to pay for hardwood or install cheap wood laminates, this is a viable option.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love the results!! I read all the reviews here and it helped my decision. Since I've seen this floor installed in some properties I decided to give a try for my bathroom, it's small and on the second floor, so I didn't want to deal with tile. the subfloor was damaged with some holes and bumps so I got a thin plywood sheet to cover it up and lay the vinyl on top of it. It was easy to cut with a scoring blade and bent down to break it. Looks great! now I just need the finishing piece at the door

Rated 5 out of 5 by from If I can do it, you can too. The product looks fantastic in my bathroom. The installation was fairly simple once I got the hang of how to properly measure and cut so that the tabs end up on the correct ends. Burned thru about half a dozen planks making mistakes so make sure you have extra. The hardest part is cutting around door jams and other places where you have to cut the board both vertically and horizontally and still maintain the adhesive strips for the next row. But otherwise, a box cutter and a straight edge and tape measure are all you need. I put down over existing vinyl that was glued to the subfloor because removing it was actually tearing up the wood beneath. You can see the before and after pics below.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This is the easiest flooring product I have worked with I have used this product in three rooms in my home in Pa. I am owned by three Lab's and this flooring stood up to everything they could throw at it. I have since retired to Ga. and recently did two bathroom floors with this flooring, love the ease of installation. Being water resistant makes it an excellent choice for my bath's. I will be doing my kitchen floor in the not to distant future. I am strictly an amateur at this so please excuse the pics.

I really like the look of the flooring, but it was a little more difficult to install than anticipated. Since it is a floating floor, you have to make sure you have it lined up exactly how you want it before placing it on the glued piece as it is very difficult to adjust. Check all of the boxes before starting your project as several of the pieces were broken.
