Answer:
This is the glue type. It is much thinner than interlocking, and the vinyl does hold up better to humidity and wear, IMHO.

Answer:
Yes. In order for the flooring to look good baseboards need to be removed. Then, after flooring is in the baseboards are put back and covers the ends of the planks for a nice finished look.

Answer:
It's not necessary. We do ask to leave an 1/8" space around the room so if you chose to remove the baseboard and then replace it, the baseboard will cover the space. Please don't restrict the product though. It does need to be free floating.

Answer:
Absolutely. That is the precise reason I installed it at my house. I have 4 dogs and 3 small children who often have spills or messes. This stuff is perfect for that scenario. I have it in the entry way from my back door… Where all my dog traffic is, & it's great when they have wet feet. No need to worry.

Answer:
I do not recommend using this product in an area that gets wet. The adhesive will be compromised by the moisture. You can consider using the Allure ULTRA product. It can be found in your local Home Depot or on line at Home Depot dot com

The bathroom floor looks just gorgeous. Shipping this product MUST BE HANDLED WITH Extra CARE. i took the boxes to job site from Home Depot and scheduled installation a week after. I opened the first box and 75% of the sheets tail end of the planks were broken or bent beyond repair. I had to finish the job and ended up improvising and making the ends meet by carefully removing 1 inch section from the back of the broken ends. I am totally dissatisfied with packaging and I am sure that's what destroyed these planks. What do you suggest? I have the planks as a proof in the box. I don't know if Home Depot will take it back or what to do with these damaged planks.

I do like the beveled edges, it hides the seams effectively. The only drawback I have to mention is the slipperiness - I've almost lost my footing a couple time, as I tend to walk about in socks. A tad bit more roughness might be nice...

I wanted hardwood or engineered hardwood, but my husband suggested luxury vinyl because of the water resistant quality. I was skeptical I would be as happy with it, but the end result was beautiful and we were able to do it ourselves (It took us about a week to get our entire downstairs done) without any problems and only one transition. I have no regrets!

First used it in the rental bathroom, then when I had to replace the hallway and bedroom flooring - continued it there. Feels and sounds much better than the typical laminate flooring. The first floor has been down three years with four different renters and still looks like new. Very easy to install and very durable!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Easiest install ever! Allure resilient vinyl plank flooring was recommended by a carpet installer. With 2 little dogs the carpet never seemed clean. Vacuum or shampoo...carpet is never really clean. The dust and mites that stayed in the carpet, even after a thorough shampooing was making everyone sneeze or cough. I purchased the Allure vinyl planks. Now, I'm not an actor like you see on TV, paid to say good things! I am a 78 year old woman, healthy and strong...very active. My husband is in a convalescent home so I've learned how to do everything that he used to do. I INSTALLED THE ENTIRE 1200 sq ft house, by myself and it looks amazing! Enough said! If you need new flooring this stuff is the thing to get!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product is a good value I finished my basement with an office and a family room. I was going to use the allure Plus flooring in the office and carpet the family room. I like the looks of the flooring so much I went back and got more to finish the entire basement. Manufacture recomended for basements. So easy to install 1 person and 1/2 day for a 20X16 room. Easy to read and understand instructions was a big help. Easy to trim to fit just score with a utility knife. Very little waste. I like the looks of the beveled edges and the wood grain. It looks like wood planked flooring. Easy to clean with a dry swiffer sweeper. Holds up to alot of kid foot traffic.
