We had a Pro install our floor and he was very unhappy with the product. He said the tiles are poorly designed in regard to the click and lock. Some of the seams are invisible, others can be seen easily. On the click and lock there is a small plastic bead that breaks loose easily and then gets trapped and won't allow the tiles to seat properly.
He also said he would rather install stone tiles than this stuff.
There is also not enough variety of patterns.

Im a twenty year veteran of the home remodel wars. I have seen more and more of the materials we use to be more style than substance. This is a good example. The idea is great and the price point is great. But i agree w many of the other reviews in that it can be a real pain to install. "Just lift up to 10-20 degrees" but what do you do if there are toe kicks and door jambs in the way. Since it floats, there is not enough resistance in floor already down to provide against you moving the whole thing when trying to put down the next piece. This was the second floor of this type and hope i dont do another and will urge customer away from this product and most floating floors.

I replaced the carpet in our bathroom with this tile and I am pleased with the result. I even took heavy sandpaper to a scrap of this tile and tried to sand off the finish. After over 50 strokes with 120 sandpaper, (yes I pressed down hard), I was unable to sand through the coating on the tile. It was slightly smoother where I sanded. The tile is slightly rough to prevent you from slipping when you walk on it when it is wet and, at my age, I am grateful for that. This roughness does not keep you from keeping the tile clean, however. My only complaint is that you have to lift the tile at a slant in order to lock it into the tile next to it and this can be tough where there are slanted walls, doorways, and other corners. The work around is to actually carve off the female lip with a chisel so you can slide the tile together when it is flat on the floor. The joint is slightly weaker, but the other tiles and the walls will hold it together anyway.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by dada1111 very poor patterning
the patterns on this product is messed up and it is impossible to make the pattern look good so ultimately you have to settle for a messed up looking install. Good Luck.

It's a bear to install! I'm far from novice and done several laminates but this one takes real effort and is very hard to get lined up to remove all the gaps. The tile is actually very sturdy and beautiful; I'll likely use it in another bathroom but certainly have learned how difficult it is to align and snap together.

Once the tile is properly installed it looks great. The problem is getting the tiles to properly get that "click" sound and perfect no black showing along the seem. It is important to thoroughly inspect each tile out of the box to verify there is no burr along any of the edges. The instructions show pushing the tile in place after aligning the short edge. Our experience has been that it is easier to kneel on the installed tile and to pull the next tile toward yourself after aligning the sort edge. If you still can't get a snug fit use a block and hammer with a scrap piece of tile to protect the edge.

My installer cussed the entire time. The product is too thick to bend next to walls and doorways. It took him 4 hours to install 18 tiles, multiple cuts, in a hallway. Had to use electric saw to cut, no scoring and break. Said he would rather install ceramic. All that said, it looks great except some tiles are much lighter than others. I checked the 2 boxes we used and they are the same lot with both boxes having the much lighter tiles and the darker veined tiles I expected. It's a special order with restocking fee and such a hassle to load up and return. Two rooms to go with fewer cuts, we'll continue on this path because the project is already this far along and a portion of the total remodel. We put in the more flexible vinyl plank flooring int the other rooms and it was easy to work with and beautiful. Just couldn't find the plank floor in a light color.

I purchased this floor because I wanted a white 12 x 24 vinyl tile. No one makes one, unless you can afford to pay a lot more. You either get 12 x 12 or some kind of pattern in white. Don't believe the review that says it looks like marble. It looks like what it is. My installer hated it. Said it was the most difficult floor he has ever installed and won't be doing this product again. That said, the end result is nice as it is a sturdy floor. There were a lot of dark patterns. Not what I expected. I went through them and laid them out before installer arrived. I found enough lighter colored tiles to satisfy me. Not crazy about the pattern, but it seems like a very durable product.
