I like this product-feels very sturdy. It DID take about 900 square feet before I got used to the click plank system. I do have a few seams(where the grey shows through) Not sure if it's because the room isn't square-or I didn't get the plank locked in. You can feel the plank click in. The installation was harder than the grip strip. Overall, I like the way it looks. I did about 1400 square feet in a walk out basement. It matches well with the hardwood floor upstairs, and the oak steps leading down into the basement. I found that cutting it with a jigsaw worked out well-sometimes it was hard to snap the cuts.

Actually used this for a countertop in a Study area! Very easy to cut & install. Look for directions online as there were none in the box when shipped. Should be great as flooring.

We have laid Allure in three different homes in 5 years and this latest Allure Ultra was much improved over the original! Easy to put down and looks amazing! Everyone thinks they're real hardwood! Love the ease of care too! I'll never use anything else!

I was satisfied with the looks of this floor. the installation is more difficult than peel and stick vinyl but not super difficult (the tile looking version is more difficult because it is shorter and more rigid). My husband and I installed 7 boxes in an evening. score and snap does work as easy as instructions say. my one concern is that after some time and use a few of my tiles seem to be pulling apart from each other. this could be because they weren't installed securely, or because they are laid on top of floor planks in a house that was built in 1901. Either way I pull up the quarter round on that side and can typically push the planks back together from the edge.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by nancy3223 Love the look and the ability to self install
This was the flooring I settled on when looking for something for my bathroom that was waterproof, durable and did not require a contractor to install. Although pricey for plank flooring this particular color, texture and pattern of wood grain was very realistic looking so worth the cost in my opinion.
First off, I was able to install my entire floor by myself and am a 48 yo female with only minimal DIY experience. The other complaints about the locking grooves not working or being difficult I found were correct. It is not a piece of cake to get the planks to snap together correctly but once you get the hang of it there are small adjustments and tweaks you can do make the snapping process quicker and easier. If the planks pull apart at all that means they are not locked and DO NOT go any further until all previous planks are securely locked into place.
What I liked best about the planks is they are easy to trim and cut out shapes. Scoring the back and snapping along the cut is as easy as directions state. Trimming and shaping small pieces take a bit of work but using pliers to snap off small notches and cut outs makes the task easier. The finished floor looks fabulous. It's so nice and realistic looking I'm planning on doing my kitchen and hallways next.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by jy14 It is not easy to do yourself!
If you buy this product, do not believe when it says it is easy to do! It is not. The instructions on the outside of the box and the inside instructions were the opposite of each other. It is hard to keep in place as you lay it. You will spend considerable time redoing because when you started on a row, it will pop out by the time you get to the end of the row. It was so frustrating. We just did not have the money to pay for installation, but I suggest if you buy this product, which looks great for the most part after it is down, have it professionally laid. We actually had places pop up over night, and we are trying to figure out how to fix it, and we know it was sealed together when we went to bed because I personally ran my finger down every single row, and it was smooth. It was in the house 72 hours before we started laying. I said I would not recommend based on doing it yourself. If you hire an installer, then you will not deal with all the frustrations we had.
