Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by PVDad Awesome flooring! Awesome price! Not easiest of install.
This flooring looks amazing and has the quality of name brand flooring. The price is less than half of what you would pay at a floor retailer. I tried all samples of various big name brands; the more you pay, the better wear layer and look you get. Allure Ultra gave me the look, feel and awesome wear layer (130 lb dog running around and kids) of all the major brands. As easy as any floating vinyl plank to install as all their locking mechanism look the same. Cutting with a utility knife was not all that easy as these planks are made thick and the wear layer is equally made not to be cut or scratched. Covered 1250 sq of basement including closet, bathroom and guest room.

The floor was fairly easy to install. The most difficult part was cutting the plank. We ended up using a Dremel MultiMax tool.It allowed us to easily cut around the toilet flange and the door jam. This is a beautiful floor that we have received many compliments on.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by DIYer1 Most difficult DIY job ever
I've been doing DIY jobs for over 30 years, and this was the most difficult one ever. Tried to install in Allure TrafficMaster in a fairly large (19'x13') basement room. The tiles just will not remain locked together. After installing the first one or two tiles in a row, locking in the third will cause the first two to separate. Going back to relock the first couple, and the third one decouples. Very frustrating. I'm three days and 75% done and the tiles no longer fit. I've got a thousand dollars of materials in my basement and cannot finish the project.
If you intend to use this product, some words of advice:
-Stick to a small room. The larger the room, the more the tiles eventually become misaligned, making them more and more difficult to interlock.
-Beware of installing over concrete. The instructions say the floor must be within 3/16" in 10', and it it may need to be flatter than that. A slight hump in the floor and the tiles will not interlock.
-Make sure the first couple rows are PERFECTLY straight. The vinyl is not very rigid, so it's easy to have a slight bow in the first row, which will make it nearly impossible to click together the tiles eventually. Snap a chalk line on the floor about 8" from the wall, and install the tiles to the chalk line. To keep the tiles from moving, shim the tiles along the baseboard in several locations, using pairs of cedar shims to get the correct shim thickness.
If you buy, hope you have better luck than me.

We installed in a guest bath and love how it looks and feels. Would give it a 5 star if we weren't still waiting for the matching trim piece needed for the carpet to floor transition, but will update when it comes in. Can't recommend yet for that reason alone, but raises to a 5 star the minute we get the trim piece. Home Depot has been really good at responding to my inquiries in a speedy and friendly manner.
Installation video was a great help and definitely recommend watching before starting. Few tools and no messy cleanup...love that!

We had this flooring installed 6 months ago throughout main floor of small condo. It looks very sleek and modern; we chose it for it's beautiful colour. This flooring is great for bathrooms and living areas and holds up well to pets and children. I would NOT recommend it for kitchen areas, as it easily scratches with movement of chairs! Thankfully, these are surface scratches only and will wipe off easily....but are quite obvious! We solved this problem by using felt pads on the chairs.

Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by steven Looks great, tough to install
Don't believe the install instructions about just snap together. I've done a lot of home improvements and this is the most difficult floor I've ever had to work with. The problem is that the flooring is waterproof when it's installed correctly and I'm sure it is, but the locking edges are very thin and easily damaged. I found the only way to install a strip was to assemble it end to end and then start at one end and snap into place. The tough part was once to get to the last bit the first end has popped out. Then you look back three rows and see that the center boards have become unlocked. The locking lip is about 1/32 and hard to see. I would not ever do this again.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Christie I'm so happy with this floor, I'm going to install it in my living room!
This floor doesn't only look great, it is also easy to install. My 15 year old son installed it for me. It cuts easily with a utility knife, no other tools, no glue....and the end results are amazing. I installed it in my laundry and kitchen pantry area because it is durable and easy to clean. It looks so nice, I'm going to use it in my living room. Would Highly recommend this floor!
