After you get a few courses down the installation gets easy. Engage the long side of the plank and slide the end together. Set the end by tapping it down with a smooth hammer, and set the long side by tapping it together horizontally. Use the plastic device they sell so you can tap on the edge of the plank without damaging the tongue.
Warning! This product will expand and raise up in a big bubble if the surface gets heated in a localized spot! Intense sunlight shining on the floor will do it. Keep the shade drawn when the sun is hot on the floor.

easy install, cuts well with a 80 tooth chop saw blade or similar. since it is special order I had to order another whole box when I only needed 2 pieces.

Looks great, easy to install. Product is a little difficult to cut for odd shapes, but pretty easy for straight lines.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by JLouise So far so good....but...
The contractor who installed our flooring commented that it wasn't quite as simple to install for him as other similar type vinyl flooring. He also noted that it seems to benefit from a little very light tapping along the edges with, for example, a small chunk of wood and hammer to help snug the seems together. Also, several of the pieces of flooring arrived damaged. The boxes themselves weren't damaged but there were some smashed corners and broken chunks out of the sides where the pieces connect (contractor noted this was not uncommon, in his experience, to find this). Thankfully we had enough of the non-damaged pieces to finish the job. All that said, the product seems sturdy enough after installation, looks nice and I like the rustic look.

Love this floor- put it in the basement with an area rug and it looks really high end. Easy to install and a very solid material.

The Allure Ultra is the better grade of vinyl flooring. It is 3/16" thick. Interlocking is easy and solid. No problems at all with unhooking as with other brands and grades sampled. The texture and look is like real wood . The semi gloss finish makes maintenance easy. No worries about scratching and it is water proof.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by GregG Stunning Floor!
This is the 2nd time I used Allure Ultra, but this time beats even the wood floors I've had in the past. It is just stunning to look at and true to the online representation, looks just like hand sawcut wood. It's soft to walk on, no buckling or movement even when heavy furniture is rolled across it and no indentations either. Im my last home, we had the floor for 2 years and when we moved, even the appraiser thought it was real wood. No scratches (we have dogs), no dents...looked like new.
We had our regular wood floor installer for the installation and he finished the job shaking his head. He could not believe how easy it was to install and could not believe how great it looked. Everyone is shocked when they ask what kind of wood we have and we tell them it's vinyl. It's NOT your grandmother's kitchen floor! Love love love my Sawcut Colorado floor. Check out the photos!
