After 1 year and 6 months and installed by experienced contractor, this flooring (1,600 sq ft) is coming apart and looks terrible. Initial installation looked good but we have watched it fall apart. We even put window tinting to control sunlight (heat) to the floor. Based on the number of negative comments, this product should be pulled. It may be that the positive comments reflect only a small installation. We have begun the process of trying to get a refund with the Manufacturer, since Home Depot will only honor a 90 day warranty. We wrote our local Home Depot manager hoping for assistance (Debbie - store 1284 in Monroe NY)

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by cro1127 Started great - finished bad!
My project started out great however started going bad quickly. The joints on the long side of the board started separating just slightly leaving small white visible lines when viewed from the side. I removed 6 rows of planks and started over. After 3/4 of the project was complete, these gaps in the board were random all over the floor. I spent a lot of time prepping the floor and paying attention to my line and detail. My saw was cutting a proper 90 degree angle. I am completely unsattisfied with this product and will not use it again. The room for error on the long side snap joints is too small for the home do-it-yourself project person.

The click lock design is not all it cracked up to be. If the planks were exactly perfect maybe, nothing is exactly perfect, regardless if it was, it might work better,
The click lock system isn't as well designed as it claims, you have 1/16th of an inch with no variance, it is nothing more than than a pliable rubber that you are trying to lock. It's easy to put three pieces together in an example. When you are installing it you are literally trying with each piece, to tie four different pieces together. The tile doesn't allow for any variance within it's own design. The top and bottom of the tile seems well designed, but they need to re-look at the click lock and make it a better design.
Personally I would never use it again.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Nick Ok product, TERRIBLE WARRANTY
Am a contractor and bought this product based on warranty. A number of pieces shrunk which is evident by the pictures. Tried to submit a warranty claim and finally gave up. The warranty process is so difficult Home Depot does not want you to attempt it. Will not buy this product again. Its a shame but as a contractor I will not allow my clients to deal with such a hassle. And for the support staff- the product was installed correctly. Have installed tens of thousands of sq/ft of this product. Your new warranty process is a disaster. Outsourcing was not a good idea.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Deg1944 Easy installation
The material was easy to work with. I did the cutting and my wife installed the tile. This tile matched very close with the bamboo flooring we are planning for the balance of the house on the ground level.
We planned on using it in the new laundry room, and then we installed it in the Florida room as it is water proof. We opted for the use of a jig saw to make the intricate cuts.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ThriftyPerfectionist So Happy I Chose This
Yes, it's a bit pricey compared to some of the laminates available. But, I'm so happy I decided to get this. It really can't be compared because water is not a problem with this flooring like it is with laminate. I covered my whole first floor: kitchen, powder room, laundry room, dining room, living room, office area. If it gets water on it, no problem. I tried to scratch a spare piece and couldn't until I got a knife. That's not normal wear. It is very very attractive and perfect with my cabinets. It has some dark and some medium coloring so glazed maple cabinets look very nice with it. The contractor commented on the ease of installation too. Also, pay attention to instructions. You DO NOT use a foam underlayment with this product. A vapor barrier is OK but just read the instructions right on the box. I'll say I don't think the Allure that glues together would have been a good idea for me. But this Allure Ultra seems to be perfect for me. Lifetime warranty..............you don't see that too often.
