Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Exactly What We Expected My wife and I bought this product to refinish a bedroom and den in our basement. Budget was a major concern. We have a baby on the way and several family members will be using the space as living quarters when helping us as nannies. The original flooring was very bold 1950s red and yellow tile. After reading all the reviews, good and bad, we decided to go with the lowest price per square foot. The negative reviews mentioned the thinness of the carpet, unsquare cut of each tile, lack of stickiness and general quality are largely unfounded. My father-in-law and I installed roughly 600 square feet in eight hours and we had no problems with any of the problems the negative reviewers had. Yes, the carpet is thin. But it feels thicker than it is. I had no issues with unsquare cuts. I found that even over uneven ground, such as ridges in the concrete or tile, the adhesive was surprisingly good. The only times I needed to supplement the adhesive was on the under portion of stairs where the tile is literally upside down where staples were needed anyway. And regarding the general lack of quality...this stuff is 99 cents a square foot. So that's just nonsense. Those are people who want to complain for the sake of complaining. The positive reviews far outweighed my decision to purchase. It went down very easily. Installation was a breeze. I used a square, razor blade and scissors to trim to fit. We chose tiles over standard carpet for that reason...ease of installation. My wife and I are extremely pleased with the entire process. She even said, "We actually have a usable basement now!" In the end, it looks great. Time will tell if it wears great, but again, the price determined our purchase. September 24, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great for my needs I ordered these for my garage conversion. I converted my garage into a playroom and I wanted my kids to still be able to roll their toys around and lay on the floor to play games and draw. This carpet is perfect for my needs. It is thin enough for my kids to roll race cars over it just fine. It is very easy to install. Me and my 7 year old daughter installed it in one night. It is peel and stick. I bought adhesive to glue it down with but didnt need it because it sticks really well. We have ran the vacuum over it every night (about a week) since we had it and no issues at all. I do not recommend this for a living area unless you are looking for something thin and flat just to cover concrete. It is not plush by any means. I dont think you can put a pad under it either. It looks really good also. December 9, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great product! Easy to Install We wanted this for a high traffic sunroom area. The home is a rental property, and we wanted something that could easily be repaired if needed. This is the perfect option. It was easy to layout, cut and install. I love the way it looks with the alternating pattern. We are very pleased with the look. September 17, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Exceptionally easy installation + Looks great! While it has only been installed for a few weeks in a basement room (w/ some moisture problems) this has been a great all around product! It looks nice and feels decent (pretty thin) beneath your feet. It has really brought a bit of "warmth" to what was once a cold basement room. September 24, 2013
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to Install These were very easy to install. Any cuts we had to make were easily done with a pair of scissors, so no special tools were required. We put them down in our office so that chairs easily rolled over the carpet. I really like the patterned look. October 21, 2014
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Carpet tiles These carpet tiles are a lot thinner than I had expected but we are putting them on the wall going down to our finished basement. They do install easy but tend to not stick too good so my husband is using some 3M spray adhesive to help stick them to the wall. They look very nice and we have had some compliments on them. We were adding them to help with sound transmission between the upstairs and downstairs and this seemed to help. February 21, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Very pleased with purchase We ordered these carpet tiles for our concrete patio. Not knowing if the adhesive would be sufficient for that surface, we bought an additional spray adhesive. We were pleased to find out we did not need it. The quality is good and they are a great value for the money. They've made a boring cold space warm and inviting. Joanne March 20, 2012
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Good value for the price You get what you pay for. This is low-cost, low-end carpet - but that's exactly what I wanted, so I'm satisfied. It was easy to install - I did 234 square feet in a few hours, including trimmed pieces at corners and edges and around some obstacles. It looks fine on the floor, and feels good to walk on. I have no complaints. June 24, 2014
