Got a great deal on this product and thought it was worth a try. Not a big fan of laminate but I think the underlayment can make all the difference. This was put on a basement concrete floor in a bedroom. I'm not sure how this would be on a high traffic area but for a bedroom it is perfect. Looks much more expensive that it was and doesn't have that loud laminate sound. Starting the flooring was a little difficult as the floor floats and tended to move around a bit but we sat 5 gallon buckets on the corners and that made it much easier. As others have said, there is a lot of dust when cutting the pieces. Overall, a great product at an even better price.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by neburnoloc make sure to purchase click floor installtion tool with this product.
The installation started out easy however after the first row I realized that I should of had purchased the click flooring installation kit ( I went back to home Depot and purchased it) SKU # 417838 , the kit brings 50 wall spacers, taping block and a pull bar to tighten the boards together, again I highly suggest you pick this item up along with your laminate flooring. The cutting of the boards puts out a lot of dust so I moved my table saw outdoors to do the cutting. As all wood flooring installations you need to stagger the installation of the boards so the seams won't line up. When finished the room looked even better than what I was expecting , the finish on the laminate looks great and the joints are barely noticeable , as all laminate flooring it streaks very easily hand prints, bare foot prints and even the wiping of the floor with a damp rag leaves streaks, many people in the forums suggest a little vinegar and water with a very very damp mop will remove laminate streaks. knowing this I put down a rug and a runner to avoid some of the maintenance. I would highly recommend this product the price is great and the results are even better. There is a lot of cutting so do try to buy a couple extra boxes to compensate for any mis-cuts, or damaged boards. also don't forget thresholds for door openings.
( I take time to do product reviews after every major purchase , help keep me doing them by rating my review) hope this review was helpful.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by june Better than carpet. Everyone wanting to know how much and who installed it.
Saw these in store and customer service rep assisted me. Rep was very knowledgeable and helped to pick best material that would best accompany this material. Purchased this to get rid of carpet and cover the original wood floors that were damaged. Have accidentally dropped soda, beer, liquor and water and the floor hasn't warped or changed colors or anything negative. Well a little negative, scratches somewhat easily but can be fixed with a little elbow grease. Would definitely do whole place if I were to live here longer than I plan to. It's in an apartment.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by BrownEyedGirl74 5 Kids and 2 Dogs! One is a Large German Shepherd!
We bought our first home 4 years ago and began working on our own updates. We started with one room first, the family room and it has held up to 5 children and and 2 dogs. I hate carpet and was so tired of steam cleaning it so we bought this as an affordable price with the original intention to "just get by" until we find something better. WELL, we fell in love! We installed it ourselves and after its beauty and toughness with zero scratches (remember 5 kids and 2 dogs with one being a German Shepherd!) we decided to continue the floor throughout the house. Our home is 2400 sq ft and the difference is amazing! We get so many complements and I don't have to steam clean any more! Just brush, and use a dry mop (meaning not wet but damp enough to clean up and shine). I was thrilled to find it on a Black Friday sale because now we can rip out the carpet in our bedroom, the last room to be done! So, as a mother who has 1 husband (love that man!) 5 children (18, 12, 7, 5, and 2) and 2 dogs....I can confidently say we would recommend this floor. It's beautiful and low maintenance. Low maintenance is a must for me! It's not difficult for my husband to install and he includes the children to help too! he has the right tools so it's not frustrating. So check out my pic and if I can figure out how to do before and after pics, I will.

I needed to remodel on a budget and i love the look of laminate flooring. I went with brazilian cherry for the rich color. I've never installed flooring on my own before and got assistance from a good friend. The process was a little confusing at first because the floor kept shifting and the planks weren't staying seamless. It wasn't until we placed down more planks did it all start coming together.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Chris awesome floor ! better then real hardwood
Bought this floor to redo a bedroom for my two little girls.. After multiple trips to disney they wanted a princess themed rooms. The hardest part about installing this floor was ripping out the old carpet and staples with the padding! the floor goes down so easy and minimum tools are required. The durability is there with kids and a 120 pound german shepherd. This floor was 3 times less then the real hardwood in my house thats only a year old and was already chipping and fading.. I plan to redo my entire house with this traffic master floor! Finally happy I found something thats has value and will last a lifetime!

I had NEVER isntalled hardwood flooring before. Pictures of this type of flooring made me decide to rip put the 500 sq. ft of carpet and put floating hardwood in. After having pulled out what seemed like a gazillian staples I put down the underlayer (look for the cheapest kind!!!!). Installation was a breeze.... i had a fair amount of cutting to do as the space has a few corners, consists of two open spaces and a 22 ft long landing. in the process i had to replace a bandsaw blade (hardwood is really hard.. lol). the result is just simply awesome... it looks rich, the house looks more expensive, i cannot be happier about this UPGRADE.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Tutton Best value for the money
I waited a few months to throw up a review but I have to say I'm impressed. I got this installed by a guy who does high end tile and nicer real wood floors and not only did he do an amazing job, this stuff is great for the money. Its obviously thin so you can hear it more but I have two large dogs and one small dog both while nails. I've dropped multiple items on this floor and not a scratch, quite impressive. You have to understand this stuff is only $.89 a square foot. Bang for your buck, this can't be beat.
If you are looking for a cheap, decent quality and holds up well then you need to buy this. Personally, I saw buy this or go high end. I can feel some inconsistencies in the floor here and there, but for $1000 for all of it, who cares? Looks a million times better than carpet!
