Is Ceramica color "Camel" similar to Allure "Sheridan Slate"?

Since there is no sample of Ceramica "Camel", not even one 9' up a wall on a store display, is it similar in hue and design to Allure "Sheridan Slate"?

It is quite vexing that Ceramica does not have available samples necessitating the purchase of several different cases of colors, only to have to return all but one, and then ordering more cases of that. The only positive is that Home Depot will have to shell out a bundle in all these shipping charges, not me.

Thank you for your question. You can ask the store to order a strap set to see the color close up. In my opinion the colors are not similar.

I have read a blog that states many people have trouble with corners that don't stick. Do you recommend using extra adhesive when laying the tile?

Answer:
The first suggestion is to ensure that the flooring is prepared as instructed. Subfloor must be clean and flat. I used additional flooring adhesive on high risk areas but not on every tile. Once the grout is in place there should be no problems with lifting. Use base molding for the tiles at the walls.

Yes. Just peel the backing (which is thin paper) and you are ready to install.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by TrafficMaster Floor...you almost won't even want to walk on it This 12" x 24" flooring added new life to an old room. I selected a running pattern 8" down each row. I put these down over an existing 12" x 12" linoleum tile after I put an embossed leveler on top to get a smooth finish. The larger tiles made work quick, and the self stick backing has them locked in place after I finished by rolling the floor. My apologies if the 2 attached pics don't fully do it justice (or are not right side up), but I was very satisfied with the end result. The only issue was that HD did not have these available in store to view. I had to order an entire case via Internet order to see and touch. But I was not disappointed...and you won't be either, if you decide to go with this tile. May 18, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great affordable product. This is a great product for the price. Keep in mind, this will not outlast ceramic. But its a great price point and will last a long time if it is properly installed and cared for. We remodeled our kitchen and put a lot of money in counters and appliances. We got this because it looks good and was cheap. I also understand that I will probably change it out in about 10 to 15 years....so its not really meant to be forever. It feels soft and warm under foot, which I love. I won't put in real stone or ceramic because its too hard on my feet. Install was great. I did it myself, but my husband helped me grout. The key to grouting is to not use too much water....you'll get cracks later on down the road. Some tiles will need to be discarded; ones where the top layer isn't securely attached to the top. There were only one or two in a package. If you have a hard time getting your corners to stick used a little superglue. Problem solved. I like it so much I did a small bathroom in our house. See the pics! August 20, 2013
Rated 3.0 out of 5.0 by Wish I could've seen it in person rather than special order and see what I got. The tiles looked nice with consistent color. However, I ended up returning them because my husband did not like that they had no texture to them. It is a very smooth surface... I suppose he's right! Real tile has some rough scuff to it. And that's the grouted look we are going for, the real deal. So i returned them. Since they did not have this product in the store, I didn't know what to expect. Now my next purchase will most likely not be from Home Depot but somewhere where they carry the tiles in stock so i can see them in person. I don't want to have to wait another 1 week have a box delivered to realize it's not what I wanted (again). I still will be going for Resilient tile flooring, just with some texture. October 6, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by love this tile I used this tile in the hallway of my home. The carpet was old and cat made it look older. I wanted a tile that looked great, could take a beating, was easy to clean and easy to install. Once I got the hallway prepped, it went down fast and easy. I had never grouted tile before, but it was well worth the effort. Friends are amazed that it isn't ceramic tile. We are contemplating laying this down in the living/dining room this summer. My only observation is that my cat has put a few microscopic scratches on a few of the tiles from sprinting up and down the hall. I would bet that dogs, with thicker claws would not cause this to happen. March 6, 2015
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Much darker than the ohoto This tile is much darker than the photo online and it has no texture, just looks like a photo. We usually always do vinyl groutable tile in everything but we took this back to the store and ended up picking a porcelain tile. June 25, 2015
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good decision. We like tile but were concerned about the mess and subflooring prep needed to make it work. We tried this product instead. We began with Dry placement of tiles to get the correct pattern across the kitchen floor. Took a while to plan the layout. We ended up adhering the tiles over the existing vinyl sheet flooring. The tiles seemed to adhere to the sheet well. Time will tell. Used Linen sanded grout at 1/8 spacing and looks great. Easy to cut. You only need a utility knife, square, and sharp blade. Score it, bend it, and voila, its cut. The flooring looks more grayish than the brown that is pictured on the website. We will definitely use this product for other rooms. June 5, 2013
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Awesome flooring I'm in love with my new traffic master tiles. We install on the entire first floor of our home living room, kitchen/ family room and including guest bathroom. Everyone that come to see think that it's actually ceramic tile. Very durable and easy to clean. I'm extremely happy with this product that we are going to install in the majority of our upstairs. Very modern that they come in 12x36. I lovethem December 17, 2014
Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by Bonding Agent Failure After purchasing TrafficMaster Allure floating floors for four different rooms in my home, I was super thrilled when I found their new line of gorgeous Ceramica tiles for my kitchen. I layed new sub-floor and floor primer/adhesive down prior to installation, as recommended. The tiles appeared to be super sticky upon installation, but soon after placing them on the floor, the corners began popping up! I contacted Home Depot, who instructed me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer was very concerned that their product was not performing well and didn't hesitate to send me a tube of heavy duty adhesive to apply to the corners. To date, they are still sticking down. They look so beautiful - I hope they last for many many years! March 9, 2012
