I purchased this product for my garage floor. It was almost impossible to cut with a razor knife as recommended. I bought a fine tooth circular saw blade for my circular saw and it worked great. I first practiced on some scrap tiles. I do not recommend using a razor knife. Not all factory edges are square, which caused gaps in some of the seams. The seams are lower then the center part of the tiles which causes the floor to look wavy. I pressed the seams down using a rubber mallet 100 lb roller. Seam glue had to be remove from the tiles a couple days after installation. If I had to do it all over again, I would install a different type of floor. I am not a happy customer!!!!!

Impossible to cut, let alone cut a straight line. Broke two blades on my utility knives.
Do not buy if you have any cutouts or curves etc. Strictly for square floors that are easy and don't have any kind of intricate cutting. If there is any debris or dirt on anything, you will have ---- to pay. It will not sit even and this stuff can't be lifted and done again. I had trouble with this and I'm a carpenter.

I am amazed at all the bad reviews. My husband and SIL installed this exact floor in our basement. They didn't complain about the installation, they used a big box cutter that folds out like a pocket knife and tin snips. There was some glue that got on the tops of the tiles but it came off with baby oil and a cotton ball like magic. Very easy to clean, not slippery and it's comfortable on your back and legs but not soft like vinyl.
My only complaint is the seams are not uniform, some are visible and some are not. Perhaps with professional installers they would be better? If this weren't the basement, I have to admit, I might not be quite as happy. I think any flooring, besides hardwood, is really hard to choose and this looks very nice overall. They just installed Allure Travertine click together floor in our kitchen and so far, I like it even better.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by JenB This flooring is not as easy to install as the manufacturer wants you to think!
We were really disappointed in this product. This flooring cannot be cut with any type of utility knife as suggested. We bought three different types of utility knives and ended up using a table saw to cut the 1 foot by 3 foot pieces. Each piece is heavy duty, we bought this product special order because we wanted durability and the look of terrazzo. We got the look we wanted but seams are visible in some spots and unseen in other spots. Three days after installation we ended up back at the store to purchase glue removing wipes, to wipe up excess glue.

I've made a poor choice when I decided to get this product installed at my place. The installation wasn't that bad,but trimming or cutting these boards is rather difficult,at least I find it difficult. So,give that, you may think that it's really tough material,it may it be unless you have windows and sun in the area you install this floor in.
First it was one problematic seam that was somehow getting constantly detached. Now I get a bit more of sun through the window and all the seams are curling,it expands so much, like you wouldn't believe, but then, when it cools down the seam gap is wider then it was before it expanded. What is that?
I am really disappointed to say the least. It's not cheap and you would expect it to be worth it,but it's not.At least for me.

We did a 36 x 70 room in this material. We liked the idea that if one got damaged we could heat up the glue joints and replace it. It has been several weeks and some of the planks are not lying down well since it is a floating floor. I was also disappointed in the variation in the coloring. It is made almost to look like 12" x 12" individual tiles but you cannot tell that until you lay it down and step back and take a look. We expected a completely uniform look.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by straightroller The self adhesive strips aren't sticking well
The floor looks great, but it has a thin clear overlay cover which is vulnerable to scratches. Many of the seams keep popping up as though the adhesive isn't strong enough. We did install in a heated building and did us the 100 lb roller as instructed. I can't recommend this product based on my experience and at $3 per square foot it's expensive.
