Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by LouisvilleCard08 Looks great overall, though very cheap looking up close
These were a breeze to install with almost no tools save a knife. They stick well and pull up relatively smoothly when you want them gone. I have these in a hallway that needed a semi permanent floor cover over hardwood that wasn't in great shape. They are very soft to walk on and you can't beat the price, and they look fine, but they are closer to the fuzz of a tennis ball than to the feel of real carpet. I wouldn't do a whole residential room in these, but for most purposes where you need really cheap flooring, they will work fine.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by RDH22 VERY disappointed!
I bought these tiles to install in my son's bedroom closet thinking that because I only had a small space to cover these inexpensive tiles should do the trick. Well, they didn't!! Very cheap looking and poor quality. They wouldn't even stick to the floor. The adhesive backing if definately lacking in what was advertised. Needless to say, I will be going to my local carpet warehouse and purchasing something better, which is what I wish I would have done in the first place. Don't waste your money on this product!!!

Installation was easy and fast. I like the looks of it. Too soon to know about durability.

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by DDakron Good for basement.
Only gave 4 stars because we've only had it a few weeks. So far, so good. It's perfect for our basement laundry room. It is thinner than I thought it would be. There is really no backing - just the layer of adhesive. But great for our use.

I wanted these to cover the floor in my closet. However these are so cheaply made I wouldnt use them anywhere. Super light weight (about 5 lbs for the case) with barely any adhesive on the back (I cant image them would stay adhered with traffic). Carpet fibers are thin. I cant say one good thing about them. Use commercial carpet tiles that have great adhevsive and good looks.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Kris Very good purchase--TIPS BEFORE INSTALLING
I love these. Here is some things to think about before installation:
1) Do you want a mosaic effect? Do you want the floor one color? Do you mind seeing the striped rows?
Installation directions tells one to turn the pieces so that the nap also turns. This causes one to be able to see each square, and an effect of light and dark squares. If you want this look, it makes the pieces fit together better, with the nap of one carpet covering the hard side of another (one cut edge is a little "harder" than the others, and a black strip shows-you will see this when you look at a piece)
I did NOT want that pattern on my floor, so I lined them up all going the same direction (there is an arrow sticker on each piece) Because of this, you can see each ROW of tiles, because the "hard" side matches up with another "hard" side of the square above it. But I wanted color consistency, and it's my basement, so I'm ok with that.
I also recommend that one starts from the middle of the floor and work in a square pattern out to the edges, as the directions state, using a chalk line to keep your rows straight. I did not do this, because I have a basement full of stuff, and had to move furniture and work around a pool table (very heavy!) and it was just easier to start in one corner and work out. This worked out fine, but no matter how hard I tried, by the time I got to the end of the room, some rows were off by about 1/4 inch. In the big picture, I am fine with that, and it's really not that noticeable, but for some applications, one would want "perfect". This would not happen as much by starting in the middle and working out..
I did notice that heavy furniture legs will compress the carpet, so I recommend putting a small square of carpet under the corners of cabinets, tables, etc. I have heavy shelves, computer cabinet, pool table and hockey table, so I just put a small, discarded, piece under the disk feet or corners of each. We are moving in a couple of years, so I didnt want to leave the compression for the next family--but if you are staying put, you may not worry about doing this. Just know that if you move a piece later, you may have permanent compression.
The glue is just fine. I noticed that it stuck really well once it "cured" for a few hours. They are easy to cut with regular scissors. The nap is very short on this particular kind, but surprisingly soft, and the cold does not come through.
I may not use this particular nap for a different application, but for a rec room or bedroom, it is perfect. I ordered 25 boxes and the color was consistent throughout.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by fisher This is why it's not available in stores
12 tiles weigh about 1 lb...should tell you a lot. It's sheer felt with a slight bit of adhesive. If i saw them in store I would never have purchased them. A sheer waste of time. GARBAGE bags would have done a better job.
