Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Christine Basement rug under drum set
We purchased this to put in the basement under my son's drum set. The rubber backing prevents moisture from the cement floor from affecting the drum set. The material absorbs some sound and it is comfortable. The rug feels a little oily but it is for a basement so not a big deal. If you are looking for something with uniform color you will not like this. The color varies between the tiles but it is fine for our needs.

Very nice after all installed. Don't even try matching the colors we got 24 boxes all at the same time and most of them were different colors. Some have more black or more white. If you turn them to match better it will just look different when you walk around the room. Also don't count the edge pieces when figuring out square feet because most of it will not be used anyway and you will end up short

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by gabe138177 great idea but falls short in some key areas
Tiles were very easy to install. For an environmentally friendly product there's too much waste. Each box comes with the trim you end up throwing away. No reason why the manufacturer couldn't sell boxes with tiles only that way you buy what you need instead of buying to throw it away. Makes no sense. There should be specialty tiles: diagonal, wide borders, etc... Tile backs should be either grid stamped to facilitate calculating for cutting or scored for easy cuts. If you're not careful, the tiles will slide as you cut them causing you to cut off-square. Quality is totally inconsistent-1 in 20-25 tiles has a material defect: improperly cut tabs, varying thickness, knots in the rubber. Final issue is color-rotating tiles helps but shading varies too much from box to box. See pics. With dark tiles you will never get a uniform color no matter what you do.

Rated 2.0 out of 5.0 by PenPen Costly for varied color and gaps
I got these tiles to cover a cold, slippery-when-wet ceramic bathroom floor and at the same time stand up to a damp environment. It solved the cold and slippery issues, but I can see every individual tile. The color variation is significant from tile to tile, going from black to dark grey.
Also there are several places where the tiles don't connect fully due to poor cuts with interlocking connectors. I could see the floor between tiles and had to use scraps to fill in those gaps.
I would have expected better color control and quality of the cut for what t I paid.

Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Maintenance Not for Heavy Duty Use!
Ordered this product because of the ease of replacement and the fact that it's advertised as heavy duty. We installed the product and within 8 hours of foot traffic, the carpet layer separated from the rubber layer causing a tripping hazard. Returning the whole lot to the store. The store did say it was a new product but H.D. should've done quality control to verify the product before selling it.
