Product Overview

The Enviroback Charcoal 60 in. x 36 in. Recycled Thermoplastic Rib Door Mat is made from recycled plastic bottles (PET) and recycled rubber and plastic and is environmentally friendly. A high-low surface rib design traps dirt and moisture in the recessed channels below shoe level to keep grime outside. The stain- and fade-resistant carpet surface is easy to clean-just shake, vacuum or hose it down. The low-profile design allows doors to open easily over the mat. Use this large, hard-working ribbed door mat at any entrance to help keep dirt and moisture outside.

  • Use this hard-working mat at any entrance to keep dirt and debris outside
  • 100% recycled polyester surface with a 100% recycled rubber and plastic backing
  • Machine made with precision to exacting standards
  • Slip-resistant backing is more durable than traditional vinyl backing
  • Coarse polyester carpet surface is stain and fade resistant
  • Every mat purchased saves approximately 32 single-serving plastic drink bottles and about 7 lb. of vinyl from entering a landfill
  • Cleans easily by shaking, sweeping, vacuuming or hosing off
  • Designed for indoor or outdoor commercial or residential use
  • Charcoal color coordinates with any decor

Answer:
YES, I HAVE ONE ON THE FRONT PORCH & TWO ON THE BACK DECK. NO PROBLEM WITH THE HEAT OR SUN. THEY WILL HOLD WATER WHEN IT RAINS, BECAUSE OF THE RUBBER BACKING. HAVE A COUPLE IN THE KITCHEN FOR FLOOR MATS, WORK GREAT & CLEANS GOOD.

I USE MINE UNDERNEATH MY DESK CHAIR, WHICH HAS ROLLERS, YES IT DOES MOVE UNDER THAT. UNDER NORMAL USE? FOR WHAT IT WAS MEANT FOR? I'D SAY IT WOULD NOT SLIDE SO MUCH, IT DOES HAVE A GOOD RUBBER BACKING ON IT.

Rated 4.5 out of 5 by 203 reviewers.
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Good entry mat Purchased this mat for inside my front door. The mat seems a bit thin, but stays in place pretty well on the wood floor. Can't speak to durability yet, as I've only had it for a month, but so far so good. The charcoal color looks great, as well as the ribbed texture. The one thing I noticed after having it a few days that I didn't think of in the store: the rubber edge around the mat is flush with the low points on the ribs the run the length of the mat.. I fear this might result in not holding melted snow too well come winter time. We'll see, I suppose, but for what I've needed so far, it's been great! I'll probably be getting one for the back door too. October 11, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great to fit outside step Cut it to fit the 2 areas .. Looks better than before ! July 21, 2016
Rated 1.0 out of 5.0 by Corners curl up Corners curl up in little time and create a trip hazard. Another example of cheap quality materials used in the manufacturing. I have mats I bought decades ago that still lay flat on the floor. I hope to find some more of those and throw these cheap mats in the garbage. July 21, 2016
Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by Use this mat under my husband's office chair to protect the new floor tile. Works very well. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Definitely more durable and better "laying" than previous mats used. Much sturdier than the mats previously used. This is a heavier mat and the corners stay down as opposed to those from prior. I will be buying more. October 21, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Just what I was looking for, great quality at a very reasonable price. Bought a few more after I received the one. October 25, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by RECYCLED RUBBER/THERMOPLASTIC RIB DOOR MAT They are fairly light weight, and will cover my audio cables across doorways and isle perfectly. Ray in AZ October 18, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Happy Purchased for a drum kit, multiple users; good product, will hold up for a while! P/u srvc easy enough, but always get the feeling that the people at the CS are always unavailable. I'm not impatient but this does get a little annoying. October 11, 2016
