My husband and I were in the market for laminate flooring for our new-to-us home. We needed to replace 1,000 sq ft of carpet in the main living areas and had a small budget. I read the past reviews for this laminate and checked it out in the store. We were apprehensive because of the price but it looked so pretty in store so we decided to buy it. Pictures do not do this flooring justice! It's absolutely gorgeous! It took two people nearly 6 days to install it all, from removing carpet to installing quarter round on baseboards. It is very simple to install, a beginner can easily take this on. We highly recommend this product!

Beautiful product. Easy to install, even my 10 year old helped with putting the new floor in. Great color. Very inexpensive.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by ga7459 Best purchase ever!
This flooring is absolutely beautiful. It was very easy to install, and offers a really classy, rich look. The price was amazing. I could not be happier with this flooring and am going to use the exact same flooring in the living room area.

I don't know if we were just lucky or what but was easy to install and looks great. We did two 11x13 rooms in 4 hours each (two different colors, both handscraped). Trial and error on the first but basically like pieces to a puzzle. No tapping needed. :) Slid and locked into place. My husband was reluctant because of the price being low and though it would be cheap junk but the handscraped made it look so much more "expensive" and it was good quality. Really pleased! Even the Mr. was pleased at how it turned out and how easy it was to install. You obviously need a tool for when you are close to the wall, etc. Its been installed a month now, no issues. We will see how it holds up. Right now installed in two teenagers rooms (and we have a dog). No scratches, etc. Would purchase again.

I love the new floor. It was easy to put in and really changed the look of the room from the old carpet. I have two other rooms with another laminate that I can't wait to take out to replace with this. Love it!

I love my new floors. We have them in our family room and entryway with plans to do the whole house (excluding the bathrooms). This is the first time we ever laid flooring ourselves. Very easy. Overall very happy!

Rated 4.0 out of 5.0 by aking First time install - moderately easy
I'd never tackled a project this big, but we decided we wanted the entire upstairs of our house in laminate due to allergies and some old carpet. I bought almost a full palette of the saratoga hickory and have it stacked up all over my house still. I've gotten 2 smaller rooms done so far, about 120 sqft each.
First room was a little tough because I didn't know what I was doing, but after getting the first couple rows going, it got much easier. Second room was much smoother because I had a better handle on what to do.
I used the orange underlayment, and I laid it parallel to the planks, even tho it says perpendicular. I tried perpendicular at first, but then I was walking all over it all day, and it tears pretty easy. If I'd had some door skins or something to lay down to walk on, that might've been better.
Hardest part for me was getting around closet/door moldings. Because of the way the planks pivot into place, it was tough for me to cut things correctly to avoid big gaps. I have a few, but you really have to look for them and I'm just not concerned about it as a DIYer.
Once it's done, it looks beautiful. Kids love it, wife loves it, everyone can't believe how inexpensive it was. We'll see how it holds up over time. When I was shopping around for flooring, buddy gave me good advice; he said "Everyone spends a bunch of money on flooring, then you cover up 80% of it with furniture. It might look great, but bedrooms don't get a lot of traffic. Save your money for rooms that get more traffic." I still have a hallway and master bedroom to finish but so far I'm happy with the purchase.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by phreed Still in great shape after 2 years.
I put these floors down by myself (48-yr-old woman) two years ago in my front room and dining room and they still look great, even with 2 dogs. Very low maintenance. Just checking in to get more to run the floors through the whole main floor. Glad they're still in stock and the same low price.
