The laminate floors were very easy to install. We have received many compliments on our floor. I have told everyone we purchased our floor at Home Depot and recommend they go and check out the huge variety available and especially they are very affordable, We had to order additional boxes twice. Thank You :)

the Kane creek walnut is a very beautiful laminate floor. However, it was not the easiest to install. Some of the planks were difficult to lock. Some of the planks I had to tack down with my brad nail gun. But in the end, I'm satisfied with the finished product!

The flooring was very easy to install and it looks great! The quality of the pieces were excellent and it's made in the U.S.A.!

We wanted to design a nursery for our first child from the ground up. We looked everywhere for flooring that had nice variation in color, so if we liked it we could bring it into the rest of the house with our beech wood cabinets and cherry furniture. After searching all the local specialty flooring stores and coming up with nothing in our price range, Home Depot was a last ditch effort to find something of quality that we agreed on. This flooring has nice red and yellow tones in it and the sample we received in store not only looks great with our cabinets and furniture, but also looks amazing with the espresso colored furniture in the nursery. I was afraid that with a product so affordable that the pattern would repeat so often it would give itself away as a laminate, but that did not turn out to be the case at all. There is plenty of variation in this laminate to get a striking look without an obviously repeating pattern. We definitely intend to buy more for the rest of the house in the future. Neither of us have any experience laying flooring and we were hesitant to DIY this project because the nursery has several odd angles that we were nervous about cutting and fitting, and the rest of the house has even crazier angles, but it all went together so well we no longer have any reservations about doing the rest of the house ourselves. All the pieces locked together nice and tight, easily, with the help of a separate kit for installing flooring that included spacers, a pull bar, and a block (a rubber mallet is pictured on the packaging but not included, you will want that as well.) My husband completed the room by himself in less than a day with minimal swearing, and was able to use the saw we already had with a thin blade, rather than buy a flooring only saw. I definitely recommend installing the higher grade padding underneath the flooring, as it absorbs nearly all the sound of footsteps and appears to be much better insulating than some of the lesser pads we looked at. We did have to return one box of the flooring due to damage during shipping that mashed all of the corners in one box, but we were able to do so in store and it was so easy it was stupid. Fortunately, we purchased one extra box in case of damage or defective pieces which worked out very well for us.
Something of note I should add is that my husband smashed an ink pen in the garage and at some point tracked it in the house on his work boots and all over the new flooring. It came right up with a little flooring cleaner, no scrubbing. We also have dogs that are very curious about the goings on in that room and the sixty pound dog hasn't made a mark in it. We've had to slide furniture all over the place during the various stages of the project with no harm to the finish.

I bought this flooring weeks/months ago when it was on sale for $1.19 a square foot. Installation was rough getting it going. You have to really hit it to get it to click together. When it's down it looks great. This was my first wood laminate installation and we like it so much that we are going to put it in a few more rooms.
We absolutely love the color. Be careful because, as with any dark flooring, it will show chips. We put felt on the bottom our the furniture so we don't scratch it.

I had damage from my fridge on the old pergo floors. This turned out to be a blessing as this new flooring is by far more appealing in my home. I removed the carpet on the first floor and put this throughout. It was easy to install. It took 2 days (by professional) 800 sq. ft. He also said it was super easy to install. The cost was acceptable for the installation costs were similar (tile is more expensive to install). I recommend.

I was very nervous purchasing this flooring compared to others we looked at having a higher cost, the phrase you get what you pay for kept floating around my mind. Boy was I wrong this floor is a diamond in the rough! Not only does it look amazing, it's very durable. We have a husky puppy who slides all over it with no damage or scratches. 2 days after install we even had a pipe burst in our kitchen, and these took on no water damage or warping at all.

This product was very difficult to install. Ended up having to re-install a section after seems popped within 24 hours. Edges got smashed trying to lay in 1 piece at a time. Ended up having to lay entire length of room for each row to get the product in without issues.
Corner of a few pieces started coming up. Not sure if it was me putting it together or just poor product. Over the next 3 months, 3 other seams would pop and there was no way to repair without removing the floor. Replaced entire floor after 2 years!
