Answer:
Hello and thank you for your interest in this product. Although the surface texture itself is resistant to water, the joints are not when locked together and as a result standing water is not good as it can cause material swelling if it gets into the joints and joint damage as wel.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not very good valve I and my wife have installed laminate flooring before with success, but this is a different animal. Go together fine, then slips apart behind you. Had to undo may board and reconnect. Every time you do this small grooves fall apart. Have tried many way to fix but don't think there is a fix. Very disappointed in product. Luckily this is a hobby room and my private office

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous!!! I was searching for a medium to dark wood laminate for my living room and foyer. I purchased another brand of laminate flooring and returned it when I found this product at a lower price. The flooring was installed 2 weeks ago in a 12 X 12 living room and 12 X 5 foyer in less than 12 hours. I was hesitant at first, but the floors look great, feel good under bare feet and resist scratches and dings (dropped a hammer on it from a distance of 5 feet). I am so pleased that I made the purchase!! This product has exceeded my expectations.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Update on Previous Review (Couldn't edit or update original) As I stated in my review earlier, I would update once I installed the flooring. Well - I installed my flooring in my spare room to begin with - the "workout room". A friend who had experience laying this type of flooring down was supposed to help me and at last minute he bailed. So I decided to give it a go by myself since I can't count on others. Installing this floor was scary being I had never done anything this invasive to my home before. It was so easy! I just watched a few video's online, read the instructions that came with the flooring and in 45 minutes I had the room complete. The only down side was the shipping. When shipped via the freight line I had no damaged boards. When shipped via parcel carrier, 4 out of 14 boxes had a lot of damage. But that is their fault - not the flooring.
