I used it under the flooring, an 89 cent click lock, and found it to be 'okay'.... I like the tape to put 2 rolls together, and it appeared sufficient to carry the floor, but it was flimsy so when putting in end pieces, it tended to move: SHOULD HAVE HAD DOUBLE SIDED TAPE UNDER THE EDGES TO STOP THIS....

Answer:
Yes, in fact I would recommend this as it helps stabilize the floor. Used it last year when installing my floors have had no problems, this also works as an insulator walking around the house when it is cold out in socks or bare feet, even to lay on the floor to do exercises do not need a mat.
Hope this helps.

some of the underlayments don't have the moisture barriers built in and a 6mil plastic is needed. The Traffic master 2in1 I thought we have always used over concrete with no other plastic when laying laminate flooring over concrete

Answer:
Yes; I used it under solid 5/8 inch bamboo, that exact flooring actually. However, I have plywood subfloors so I don't know how it would work with concrete. It would certainly make a sufficient moisture barrier.

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by foam was quite easy to work with plus i bought laminate flooring it all went together greattttttt I PURCHASED LAMINATE FLOORING. LOVE THEM. I HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR JUST THE RIGHT LAMINATE FOR OVER A YEAR AND WHEN I SPOTTED THIS I PURCHASED IT AFRAID IT WOULD BE GONE IF I WAITED. ALSO PURCHASED THE POLETHYLENE FOAM. IT ALL WORKED WELL TOGETHER. August 16, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by POLYETHYLENE FOAM 2-IN-1 UNDERLAYMENT The underlayment was easy to install and stays in place while you install flooring. It was easy to cut, just remember to cut so you are left with the adhesive side if you will need to join another piece to it. May 10, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Easy to use. This stuff was easy to use and with the adhesive strip I didn't have to keep messing with it to keep the pieces together September 7, 2016

Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by very good Product worked out very well for my family. We go about twice a week to home Depot to buy different items August 5, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great bang for your buck I'll admit I was skeptical at first, given the thickness. However, I was pleasantly surprised. Very satisfied with this product. I did notice a lot of comments regarding the tape strip and the trouble it can cause curling up. I laid the first strip of padding down, and before installing the second, I used small pieces of masking tape to secure the tape strip to the floor thereby keeping it from "curling" up. This helped make this process very neat, seamless and easy. July 31, 2016
Rated 5.0 out of 5.0 by Great Product This worked perfectly for my laminate flooring, easy installation. August 2, 2016
