Very helpful in ensuring a tight fit of the Allure Ultra vinyl planks.

I don't usually do reviews, but I decided to do one on this tool to help others. I can't imagine doing the job without this tool. You need this to eliminate the gaps for a tight and professional finish. I had first hesitated spending the extra $10 bucks to get this, but glad I eventually bought it. It is designed specifically so that when you tap on it the edge of the plank does not get damaged. Even if you are doing just one small room, get this and get it done right. Notice my white tapping block on the top right of the attached pic. I am an IT guy and not well versed in home improvement. But with the Allure Ultra and this wonderful little tool I am ready to tackle the other two bedrooms as soon as HD has another good deal on this flooring.

You need your tiles tight with no gaps. This tapping block does the job better than anything else.

This tapping block is a must have tool to properly install Allure ultra click and lock. I used to use a piece of plank to fit into the groove to tap the plank into place.

I tried the block in the kit and it wore out about a third of the way into project . Bought this one and it took a beating and still looks good.
