We installed this flooring in our bathroom of all places. While looking at another type of flooring, a HD associate recommended this floor because of it's ability to shed water. My husband was all gun ho to lay this floor down but I was hesitant. We had never completed a job like this before. What if we started out wrong? What if we didn't like it once we finished? What if water did get under the seams? My concerns were definitely unfounded. The floor went down without a hitch. We love the looks of a hardwood floor in the bathroom and it has got wet from the shower with no damage what so ever.
Would we recommend this product? You bet!
Would we recommennd our local Home Depot? You bet!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by MerrittRanch tools required for installation
These are the only tools we needed for installation. See photo.
We installed the whole house without any transitions. In some places like in a bathroom, we went backwards for a couple feet. Just lift the installed piece with three screwdrivers then slide the new piece underneath and push the glued ends together.
This is so much better than hardwood and wood laminate which scratch easily and can swell with water accidents. We installed this in the kitchen and I never worry about water or oil falling on this floor. I painted my walls and some paint accidentally spilled on the vinyl planking. It came off with a wet paper towel the NEXT DAY. That would not happen with hardwood, which I had in my last house.

This was so easy to install I told my husband I want to do it. So with his help (measuring and cutting) I installed it. Super easy!!! We put it in our small front bath took about 2hrs with some stopping due to little helpers. You do want to make sure and let the floor sit for 24-48 hrs in the room where you will be installing to get used to the temp. I did have one problem with the seam around my air vent the cold air was causing the seam to seperate. So I clogged the vent with paper towels and used a blow dryer to reheat the seam which closed as soon as the heat hit it left the vent clogged for 48 hrs to set and havent had a problem since. This really is a beautiful floor and have had lots of compliments on it. It does show scuff marks going to purchase the allure floor cleaner to see if it will take them out. But i do love the floor and plan on putting it in the kitchen next!

My daughter-in-law and I installed this flooring in my small kitchen. I chose this flooring again, having used it in a bathroom remodel. It looks just lovely and is super easy to care for. One thing to be watched for when cutting and installing the planks is to stagger your pieces like you would see done with real hardwood. My daughter-in-law is a pro at this and it just looks wonderful. Maintenance is a breeze and I couldn't be happier. I saved a bundle not having to have someone put in new flooring with underlayment, etc. This plank flooring can be installed right on top of your existing flooring as it "floats". If cost is a concern, you really need to try this. The color I chose was Amber Ash which has to be ordered. I had it delivered to my house (the boxes are extremely heavy) with "FREE SHIPPING". I would definitely recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Cappy This product goes down quickly and easily
I chose this product for it's value and ease of installation. I installed throughout a 1200 sq ft home. I wanted a seamless look and this product fit the bill because it can be installed in bathrooms. It feels great underfoot and looks like real plank wood flooring. I'm a 60 year old grandmother and I'd install this product again.
