Rated 4 out of 5Â by AllanS Great product, lot's of comments on the great look
After so much negativity about this product, I did just 2 bathrooms upstairs in December 2013. Our house has bamboo hardwood upstairs and we wanted a simular look, but in vinyl for the basement. After 3 months, with no problem, went ahead and installed 16 boxes. To date, everything is great, lot's of good comments. A lot of different cuts, mudroom, closets, hallways, laundry room, furnace room, storage room. Very little waste if you plan ahead. 4 stars only because I never give a perfect rating to anything.

Rated 5 out of 5Â by LeighC26 I love this floor. Great buy!
Please take into account that most people who put reviews have something negative to say. I was a little worried about this product because of some of the negative reviews. However, I chose to believe that a big company like Home Depot would not continue to sell a product that was not profitable and was getting a lot of complaints. I'm glad I believed! This is a great floor!
We have two 50lb dogs and were worried about the floor showing scuffs and scratches. So, far we have had no complaints about this. It is August and we installed the floor in February. They run through the kitchen all the time. It is a little slippery for them, but they have adjusted.
I read one review that complained about glue seeping from the seam after installation. I must say, that is partially true. With installation, there are times that you touch the tops of other planks with the glue from another. This was actually very minor. The day after installation, I quickly went over the glue with some vinyl floor cleaner and a scrub sponge. It very easily came off and I did that for a couple of days when a few new spots would appear. Since then, It has been no problem!
I put my flooring in my kitchen, so installation was a bit more complicated because I had 6 doorways and two closets off my kitchen and back hall. I did have to reverse direction once to do the area by the sink. I had forgotten to order the reverse strips(which I highly reccomend) and made reverse strips myself out of extra pieces. Still, it turned out perfect.
Another complaint I saw was about gaps between the planks. Yes, some of the planks did not lie completely flush. There are very small dark lines between some of the planks. I happen to like this. I think it makes it look even more like real wood flooring.
In 6 months, I have had no issues with any of the flooring coming up or separating. I did rent a 100 pound floor roller as suggested by some other reviews. This may have helped.
There was real hardwood bamboo flooring on sale for the same price per sq foot when I bought the Allure flooring. I chose it because it would go over my existing floor with no preparation and I would not have problems with changes in floor height to connecting rooms. I'm VERY happy with this product!

Rated 5 out of 5Â by Jasper Awesomely easy
This Allure Bamboo LVT is awesome. It looks greats. It was really easy to install and cutting the tiles to fit was also very easy. It took more time to prep the room than to lay the tile, but once we had a system, it flew.

Rated 3 out of 5Â by niceguy4186 Light color might not be best choice for this product
Being a very light color, pretty much every seam shows. That, and it was about impossible to do without gaps. Only been installed a few days now and it seems like a lot of the edges are popping up. May need to slip some glue in if they keep popping up.
Did notice my knee pads were leaving marks, so I am worried about how tough this stuff is.

Rated 1 out of 5Â by Ppww Terrible product and homedepot is not standing behind their product
Easy to install, and we still have the professional to do it for us. However, the biggest flaw is the adhesive on this material. My friend had other texture, but works fine. There is some problem with this bamboo. The adhesive is weak and the floor is peeling up in many places even though it was well conditioned. We were referred to the manufacture company from homedepot.
The company sent the independent floor inspector to check the condition under the floor, and decided there is nothing wrong but the material. The manufacture compensate the material 100%, however, neither them or homedepot is willing to pay for the labor, because, they said it is a do it yourself product. I won't recommend it to anyone.
