We were really disappointed in this product. This flooring cannot be cut with any type of utility knife as suggested. We bought three different types of utility knives and ended up using a table saw to cut the 1 foot by 3 foot pieces. Each piece is heavy duty, we bought this product special order because we wanted durability and the look of terrazzo. We got the look we wanted but seams are visible in some spots and unseen in other spots. Three days after installation we ended up back at the store to purchase glue removing wipes, to wipe up excess glue.

purchased 1500 sq ft for my business April 2012 and 1 month later May 2012. The seams developed gaps and the tiles lifted. This material also scratches very easlily. Would not recommend this. Company Allure is not going reimburse or or replace flooring.

Impossible to cut, let alone cut a straight line. Broke two blades on my utility knives.
Do not buy if you have any cutouts or curves etc. Strictly for square floors that are easy and don't have any kind of intricate cutting. If there is any debris or dirt on anything, you will have ---- to pay. It will not sit even and this stuff can't be lifted and done again. I had trouble with this and I'm a carpenter.

We did a 36 x 70 room in this material. We liked the idea that if one got damaged we could heat up the glue joints and replace it. It has been several weeks and some of the planks are not lying down well since it is a floating floor. I was also disappointed in the variation in the coloring. It is made almost to look like 12" x 12" individual tiles but you cannot tell that until you lay it down and step back and take a look. We expected a completely uniform look.

I purchased this product for my garage floor. It was almost impossible to cut with a razor knife as recommended. I bought a fine tooth circular saw blade for my circular saw and it worked great. I first practiced on some scrap tiles. I do not recommend using a razor knife. Not all factory edges are square, which caused gaps in some of the seams. The seams are lower then the center part of the tiles which causes the floor to look wavy. I pressed the seams down using a rubber mallet 100 lb roller. Seam glue had to be remove from the tiles a couple days after installation. If I had to do it all over again, I would install a different type of floor. I am not a happy customer!!!!!
