Customer Questions & Answers

how is it appied

Asked by: press
All bottles come with a trigger sprayer except the gallon. For the gallon size you would want to use a hand held garden sprayer. It was easy to apply by just spraying evenly on the fabric and letting air dry. Always check the level of liquid in the bottle as you spray so you don't over do it and run out before you are done. The coverage can be from 50% to 100% of what the manufacture claims -it just depends on your fabric type and how much you choose to spray I suppose.

Should this be applied yearly?

Or is it just a one time thing? Are you supposed to apply it yearly? Thanks for any help!

Customer Reviews

1 gal. Ray Bloc UV Fabric Protector Spray is rated 3.0 out of 5 by 2.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked great on my awning This product works great for protecting fabric from fading and damage. A previous reviewer said it didn't work for waterproofing -that's because it is NOT a waterproofing product. The manufacturer says to apply once a year unless you live in a really sunny area then you may want to apply a few times a year. Since you can't fix faded fabric it is better to apply more frequently rather than less. Pay attention to the level of liquid in the bottle as you spray so you don't over apply and run out before you are done. Worked excellent for me and will help me extend the life of my awning cover!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Trek-7 I don't think this product works. The canvas I applied it to is no more water resistant than it was before. I have to assume the uv blocker isn't any better.
